Travis was great-- on time, diagnosed the issue quickly, and got down to work-- in and out in about 30 mins

Literally the worst person I have ever spoken to while trying to schedule a visit. If you are not a native, don't reach out to them.

Unfortunately, my experience with Midwestern Plumbing Pros started off very poorly before we even had the chance to speak with a technician.
My husband initially called and, because English is not our first language, he had difficulty understanding the phone number the receptionist gave him. When I called back, I was very polite and simply asked for the number again. Instead of helping, the person who answered immediately responded with an extremely rude and impatient attitude, saying something along the lines of, “I don’t know what you’re not understanding, I’ve already given you the number five times.”
There was clearly a language barrier and a simple misunderstanding, and there was absolutely no reason to speak to a customer that way. I told her that if necessary, she would need to repeat the number until we were able to understand it, and that I was sorry if she was having a bad day, but we were also dealing with a stressful situation at home.
We were calling because we have a plumbing issue and were looking for professional help, not to be treated with disrespect for asking someone to repeat a phone number.
We haven’t even been able to speak with the technician yet, so this review is specifically about the customer service experience when calling the company. First impressions matter, especially when customers are already dealing with an emergency or stressful home repair.

Scheduling was easy and an estimate was provided over the phone. Our toilet flange was replaced and our tankless water heater was flushed as recommended maintenance. Ryan and Tyler were very polite and respectful. They cleaned up well. We would definitely recommend Midwestern Plumbing.

Frequently Asked Questions About Midwestern Plumbing Pros
How much does a plumber cost in Cincinnati, Ohio?
The cost of plumbing services in Cincinnati varies based on the nature of the repair, necessary materials, accessibility of the plumbing system, and the time required to complete the job. Midwestern Plumbing Pros offers transparent pricing prior to starting any work, ensuring you fully understand costs before authorizing the repair.
Do you provide emergency plumbing service in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky?
Midwestern Plumbing Pros offers plumbing services across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Whether you are experiencing a burst pipe, overflowing drain, water heater failure, sewer backup, or other urgent plumbing issue, please reach out to our team to verify current availability for service.
What are the signs that my main sewer line is clogged?
Typical indicators of a blocked sewer line include multiple drains running slowly, toilets that bubble or make gurgling sounds, water backing up into bathtubs or showers, unpleasant sewage smells, and water pooling near basement floor drains. We can perform a sewer camera inspection to identify the source of the issue before recommending repair solutions.
Should I repair or replace my water heater?
Repairing a water heater may be worthwhile if the issue involves a replaceable part and the tank remains in sound condition. Replacement typically becomes the better choice when the tank is leaking, significantly corroded, inefficient, or approaching the end of its expected lifespan. Our team can assess your water heater and review both repair and replacement options with you.
How often should a water heater be flushed?
Traditional tank water heaters typically benefit from regular flushing to eliminate sediment accumulation. This sediment can decrease efficiency, cause popping or rumbling sounds, and reduce the water heater's lifespan. The recommended maintenance frequency depends on local water quality and guidelines from the manufacturer.
Why does my sump pump keep running or turning on frequently?
Frequent sump pump operation may result from excessive groundwater, an elevated water table, a leaking water line, a stuck float switch, an inadequately sized pump, or discharge line issues. When a pump runs continuously or cycles more often than normal, it should be examined before motor failure occurs.
How do I know if I have a hidden water leak in my house?
Indicators of a concealed water leak may include an unexplained rise in water bills, moisture in drywall, ceiling stains, musty smells, mold development, warm areas on floors, or the noise of running water when no plumbing fixtures are in use. Professional leak detection services can pinpoint the leak location without unnecessary wall or floor removal.
What causes low water pressure in a Cincinnati home?
Reduced water pressure may result from mineral deposits, malfunctioning shutoff valves, aging or corroded pipes, pressure regulator malfunctions, obstructed fixtures, municipal water supply issues, or concealed leaks. When low pressure impacts the entire home, the cause typically lies within the main plumbing system rather than at an individual faucet.
Do I need a water softener or whole-house water filtration system?
Water softeners are designed to reduce hardness minerals that lead to scale buildup on fixtures, appliances, and pipes. Whole-house filtration systems address additional water quality issues such as sediment, chlorine, unpleasant taste, odor, or particular contaminants based on the filtration technology used. Midwestern Plumbing Pros installs water treatment equipment from trusted brands including AO Smith, NorthStar, and Sterling.
What plumbing areas does Midwestern Plumbing Pros serve?
Midwestern Plumbing Pros provides service to residential and commercial customers throughout Greater Cincinnati and neighboring areas, including Cincinnati, Anderson Township, Amelia, Batavia, Milford, Loveland, Madeira, Mariemont, Hyde Park, and select Northern Kentucky communities including Covington and Newport. Please contact us to verify service availability for your specific location.
