  I was referred to Dennis at Allen Carpet in Yonkers, NY by a friend who was helping me during a very stressful move into a new apartment. The new apartment desperately needed new carpeting in the bedroom before I could move in. I got the OK from the landlord to pick out new ones. From my initial call to Allen Carpet, Dennis was so helpful, assertive and knowledgeable. Within 48 hours, Dennis was at the new apartment taking measurements and I was sampling and picking out the new carpet at the store the same day! The new rugs were installed three days later! They arrived on time, installed new carpet, vacuumed, cleaned up and even neatly put out old carpet to be picked up by sanitation. Something that could've easily been a stressful process was done with such seamless ease thanks to Dennis and his team at Allen Carpet, Yonkers. I am loving my new carpets and highly recommend!

  My carpets are beautiful just the colors I wanted and Denis was awesome helping me choose. Installation was a breeze, there on time and finished quickly. Also vacuumed and swept up before they left. Highly satisfied customer would definitely recommend

  Walked into the store today hoping to get some help with purchasing a rug. The person in the store was helping another couple, which is fine, but never acknowledged me whatsoever, though I was the only other person in the store. After walking around a bit I realized there was another person at the desk. I went up to him and asked for some help. It was obvious he didn't care to help, but he came over and just gave one word responses to my questions and when I asked how much the rug I wanted would be he said, "I don't know, I'm not a sales person, he'll help you when he's done" and walked away. Totally disgusting and he had bad breath 🥴 I walked out. Not sure who told Allen Carpet they're the only rug store in NY 😂 Losers.

  I got an okay deal on some okay carpet but they sold my carpet to someone else before installed mine. I called them several times for them to install my carpet and got a response the installers will call me to set up an appointment. No one called me for 3-4 days so I ended up going to the store and demanded someone install my carpet or give me a refund. So I ended up getting better carpet at the same price because of there F UP! I like the carpet they gave me but the time to install took longer than necessary. If your going to get your carpet here make sure they give you a date to install otherwise your in it for a run around! 🙄
