  Bottom line: Asked for a quote, got a bill for a diagnostic visit instead. Called requesting two quotes: replace two failed FAAC 400 gate operators, and a separate annual service agreement. They told me on the phone their Project Manager would be able to provide an estimate, and sent him out that same afternoon. I repeated both requests to him in person. I heard nothing back, followed up by email the following Tuesday, and they finally responded Wednesday... with neither a service agreement sample nor an equipment estimate, just a $795.91 estimate for a "diagnostic visit" before they'd even quote the actual repair. This despite saying upfront they could quote on the spot, and despite my specifying exactly what was wrong and what parts were needed, twice. Their diagnostic rate alone ($244.80/hr) is more than double what a competitor charges contract customers for repair labor, and well above another competitor's standard rate. Two other local gate companies gave itemized, no-cost quotes for the identical job within days. Hard not to conclude they simply didn't want to put a number on paper they knew wouldn't be competitive. Edit: Thank you for the response. To clarify: I called specifically requesting quotes to replace two failed FAAC 400 operators — 13+ year old hydraulic units well past their service life. There was nothing to diagnose. Your PM confirmed in person he understood the request. The written estimate contained no scope of work, no findings, and no equipment pricing — just a 3-hour minimum billing at $244.80/hr. You've now confirmed in this response that actual replacement pricing only comes after paying for the diagnostic visit. Two competitors provided detailed, itemized replacement quotes at no charge. Readers can draw their own conclusions.

  My job was completed in two days. The workers Jesus and Alex did an excellent job. I’m very happy with Fesco Fencing and would recommend them to friends and family and other others thank you fesco Fence For your patience and compassionate for me as your customer and I also would like to appreciate Allen that came out to the job the first day to make sure everything was being done correctly and also for the manager supervisor that came out the second day to make sure everything was going OK again I want to thank Fesco Fence Excellent job that they did on my house.   I want to first say the FESCO team is amazing. Thorough measurements, thorough design and thorough follow through. Yes, you are paying about 25-40% more than other companies, but let me say, when you need them they are there. No additional pricing when they come back to resolve any issues or replacements. They stand by the product. The warrant on the vinyl--- they stand by it and the company's name goes far. I gave them an A+ all they way.

  Right before starting the work, they demanded a deposit, even though in their own contract that they sent to us, they stated that the payment will be based on the % completion of work. When asked about why that change, I was met by a rude demeanor, basically telling me this is how it's been done for 50 years. If this is how it's done for 50 years, you might as well put it in the contract, so people know that this is how it's done and they are not surprised by it right before the work starts. Cannot comment on the quality of work being done. Because we never got to see it. I wished them luck in the future and we just parted ways. Another estimate that we got from another fence company didn't require any money until entire work was done. P.S. I just read the response from the owner. Lie after lie, after lie (including the fact that I posted the review HOURS before you "immediately called back". - i have the time stamp on the email from when I posted the review and the time of the call to my wife on her phone. If you lie about something , don't lie about something that can be easily checked). That is not what happened. You tried to call in response to my review. I'm very happy that we didn't go along with such dishonest people.
