I had a great experience with City & Suburban Construction Group . I found them through a friend who had used them and recommended them to me. I’m really glad I decided to go with them. They showed up when they said they would, were respectful of my home, and paid attention to the little details. They renovated my kitchen and bathroom, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The kitchen looks like it came out of a magazine, and they really helped improve the flow and layout of the kitchen, which made such a big difference. I love cooking in it now! They gave me some great ideas that I hadn’t even thought of and were honest about what would work and what wouldn’t. I never felt like they were just trying to sell me something. Everyone was friendly and easy to deal with, and they did a great job with the work. They were on top of everything and made the whole process pretty easy. I’m very happy with how everything turned out and would DEFINITELY recommend them to others!!!

I hired Lee and his team to install a marble mosaic floor in my en suite bathroom. The tile installation itself looks very nice overall, but I have several concerns about the finishing and a few issues that were not fully resolved. There are red pen marks still visible along a number of the edges, and neither the marble tile nor the grout was sealed. I was only told at the end of the job that I would need to seal everything myself, which I was not expecting and have no experience doing. There is also an open hole in the tile work near the edge directly below the sink. Because of its location, I am concerned that water could get into the thinset or beneath the tile. The perimeter also does not appear to have been properly finished with caulk. Instead, there is thick grout running all the way to the edges, which looks somewhat unfinished and also catches hair and debris. Another reason I hired the team was to correct the pitch in the shower area because water was not draining properly. Unfortunately, that issue has not been fully resolved. Water still pools in the same area, and I have to wipe or mop it up with a rag after every shower. I am pleased with the appearance of much of the tile work, but I do feel these finishing issues and the drainage problem should have been addressed before the job was considered complete.

I have used City and Suburban for both the gut renovation of my apartment and the renovation of my son's two bathroom and the rebuilding of a staircase in his apartment. The work they do is beautiful. Plumbing, electrical, plastering, painting exceeded my expectation. They gave me a price for the work and they did not nit pick every nickel and dime. Lee honored his commitment and we are pleased with our experience.
