NOCO sent their serviceman for our standby generator. WOW! If all companies operated like NOCO it would be amazing. He was on time, very cordial, knew his stuff and worked proficiently. Tim took the time to explain what the generator needed and promptly repaired it. I was blown away. Very good service.

We are very disappointed with the way we were treated by Christina. She was extremely rude and disrespectful toward us throughout the process. We were also told that someone in management would be contacting us regarding the situation, but we never received a call back. Instead, Jake reached out and apologized on her behalf. It is concerning that a grown professional could not take accountability for the way she treated a customer. That being said, Jake was very kind, professional, and helpful, and the installation team that completed the installation did an amazing job. We truly appreciate their effort and professionalism.

We have had nothing BUT PROBLEMS with this company! The teaser gas rate the first year was raised almost $2.00 per gallon the following years. We have three tanks. They didnt fill our connected duel tanks on last fill. Whe received a heap grant they are refusing to apply to the current balance on the account. They will only apply it to balances going forward.

Up until recently would have given this company high marks however after being a customer for several years it very much appears I was due for an attempted raking but this may have to do with as I was told they have anew service manager who possibly feels the need to ramp up sales using scare tactics and improperly diagnosed equipment problems. Not sure if technicians are on commission but that would make sense given my recent experience. Having paid for the “ comfort plan” for past several years a service which includes annual cleaning as well as preferred service and pricing recently had my annual cleaning. Tech changed fuel nozzle in combustion chamber and filter in fuel line and measured co2 setting however made no attempt to actually clean combustion chamber ( I’ve seen it actually done many times in past 35 years on two different furnaces) and it absolutely didn’t happen. Not only that but this tech pointed out several problems with my furnace explaining “ there’s so many issues here you’d be better off with a new furnace “. And when I received the ridiculously high emergency quote verbally I instructed him to finish and leave. Luckily having been in the trades I know people who do this type of work so I had a trusted friend who is a service technician with a large commercial hvac company stop over for a second opinion. The pump seal I was told was leaking ( which according to noco tech required entirely new pump $617) , the pump seal itself is a $6 part and wasn’t leaking before he arrived and hasn’t leaked since and if you chose to buy the entire new pump for ease of installation they are readily available at several online retailers ranging in price from $130 to $240 and are exact matches. He also stated my expansion tank was shot quoted another $344, $68 at Loews or online but still under $100 and the old one unscrews and the new screws on . Either way after checking it over my second opinion mechanic said it was fine and functioning as it should be. He quoted me another $617 to replace a zone valve power head something that I’ve become accustomed to keeping on hand over the years and have changed a few myself ( I just bought two Honeywell brand power heads $49 apiece) it takes about twenty minutes to change one and that includes gathering your tools. He also pointed out the water pressure gauge reading zero and told me possibly the gauge was bad or my pressure sensing water inducing valve was faulty. This valve is mounted on the floor joist above and behind the furnace in a rather tight spot and oddly enough being familiar with the noises in my home it very much sounded like there was some activity in this area as I was sitting in my chair directly above listening. Upon inspection this valve was found to be completely shut thus causing the zero pressure reading in my furnace. I didn’t see it happen I just know there was water pressure in that furnace not long prior to this technicians arrival as I do glance at the readings when passing by in the basement so either he shut it or I have a mouse down there preforming sabotage with a screwdriver. Another thing the technician pointed out to me was that the fuel in my system was green in color not red as home heating oil should be according to him - I guess he didn’t realize I had just had my tank filled by noco who apparently delivered diesel fuel to my home instead of home heating oil. So in closing I would have to say in my opinion this is no longer a trustworthy business and unfortunately after being a good paying customer for many years I now have to find a new fuel supplier and furnace maintenance company.
