  I had a concrete job completed at my residence by Blount Concrete. A few months into the winter season, the top surface layer chipped / popped in numerous locations as if there was water below the surface and it froze. Less than 4 months old and it looks terrible. To the best of my knowledge, the surface was never sealed. If that was my responsibility no one ever mentioned it to me. Assuming this is a known outcome in concrete, it would nice if it was discussed as a possibility beforehand. Welcome to the new norm in quality workmanship.

  My driveway is all pitted, some spots chunks missing, when I called after first winter all I got was that happens. Do yourself a favor don't go with Blount cheaper isn't better. We also had new footers laiid exterior walls of our garage made the wall to high had to reconstruct the opening for our doors in order for them to fit. Looking back should have taken to small claims court. Should have listened to people who told me not to go with Blount shame on me

  Terrible work from start to finish. Jim and the boys poured a new driveway for me in 2015 and in December of 2017 it looked like atomic bombs had been tested on it. When I questioned Jim about it he told me that the driveway should have been sealed yearly and washed with a hose monthly. That’s every month. Including December, January, February and March. I’m sure all that water and ice won’t ever turn into an issue in an WNY winter, especially if I trade my car in for a new Zamboni. This would have been nice to know before my ten thousand dollar job turned to rubble. Jim never gave me any care or maintenance program that is imperative to make a driveway last 3 (THREE!!! years) Apparently concrete is a very fragile material that needs endless maintenance and care. Blount Construction is an absolute joke show and I would never hire them to do anything. They should change their slogan to “Concrete is hard, unless Blount Construction pours it” AVOID BLOUNT CONSTRUCTION AT ALL COSTS. YOU WILL REGRET IT! ***My court case was dismissed because Blount Construction wrote "No Warranties" on my contract. Apparently thats a legal way to be able to walk away from any work you do.

  Very Professional, came and did my driveway in one day, which I didn't think would be possible since it is fairly large. They were not able to seal it that night because it was not cured yet and assured me someone would be by the next day to put a coat of sealer on and they came over the next afternoon. The job site was cleaned and it barley looked like they were there. The driveway has held up for two years and looks brand new. Crew was polite and professional, I am looking at getting a patio done soon and will be using them again. Highly recommend their work.
