Block Solid Masonry did the re-parging (I didn’t know it was a thing until ours was peeling and wearing away) of our entire foundation and replaced the concrete “apron” between the driveway and garage. Chris is a dream to work with. He got back to me right away whether I emailed or texted and was on site working right alongside with his crew. They start early, work hard, and stay late. Incredibly professional and respectful. I recommend him so highly that I’m leaving his sign up all week for extra advertising.

Can't say enough good things about Chris and Block Solid Masonry! The massive chimney at our new house needed a partial rebuild, and of all the places we called, Block Solid was the only company that didn't seem reluctant about the job. (Their estimate was also a few thousand dollars lower than the others we received.) Chris was easy to work with and his crew did a fantastic job with the rebuild and the cleanup. Really, you couldn't even tell they had been there afterward. And Chris did a great job matching the brick on the 90 year old chimney. Chris also helped us out big time when the sale of our old house was held up due to some lender-required chimney repairs. Even though it was a much smaller job than Block Solid usually takes on, they squeezed us in almost immediately and saved the day. You really can't go wrong with these guys! Give them a call.

Chris and his crew just finished a big job for me. They tore down my 1942 outside fireplace chimney and adjoining small porch and steps and rebuilt them. It had not been taken care of by previous owners, so bricks were constantly splitting and falling. What a beautiful job they did! I wanted to keep the integrity of my traditional cape cod, so they did it in the same footprint with a traditional red brick similar to the old one. The porch has limestone stairs and a blue stone landing as before. Chris will come back after it cures to reinstall my black wrought iron rail. The crew are very hard workers and really care about what they do. They are also really nice guys. I highly recommend them.

Our porch collapsed because whoever built our home used the area as a dumpster 30 years ago. Chris and his crew came by and fixed everything up in less than 3 days and left our house and landscaping looking better than he found it. Chris is knowledgeable, honest, and responsive; something that is very hard to find in today’s home improvement market. You would be a fool not to hire him and his team. 100% recommend for anyone in the Central New York region.

Chris was professional and didn’t try to sell me anything more than what I needed.
