  Had a fantastic experience with John Betlem Heating & Cooling for a full HVAC replacement. Steve Betlem handled the sales side and made the whole process incredibly smooth and straightforward—no pressure, just great options. ​We were swapping out an old, dead system that had been chugging along since 1984, so this was a major upgrade. The installation crew, Steven Ryan and Oneil, were absolute rockstars. They showed up right on time, got straight to work, and did an incredibly clean, professional job installing the new Amana furnace and AC along with the Aprilaire and iWave-R upgrades (everything looks top-notch, as you can see) They didn't leave a speck of dust behind, thoroughly tested the entire system before leaving, and took the time to make sure I knew how everything worked. Super respectful and professional guys. If you need HVAC work done right, ask for this crew!

  In May I thought I would test our very old and outdated whole house A/C. It was not pumping out cool air so I called the original installer - John Betlem. They promptly responded with an appointment and the technician was top notch. He diagnosed the issue quickly and acquired the right refrigerant and leak-seal to get the job done. I am very grateful for the excellent service because now that there's unbearable hot weather here in late June/early July, the AC is working flawlessly.

  Our A/C went down unexpectedly during the hottest week of the year (with a 100+ heat index), and John Betlem Heating & Cooling completely saved the day for our family. I booked a self-serve appointment online, and they sent a tech out the very same day. Myles, the technician, was incredible—he kick-started our dead compressor to get us some temporary relief, and then went above and beyond by getting his sales manager, Mike, out to the house that afternoon for a replacement estimate. Mike provided a fast, fair quote with zero pressure to buy add-ons or maintenance packages, and he scheduled us for an emergency install just three days later. The install crew arrived early in the morning, worked through tough conditions to finish before peak heat, and left our home in perfect condition. Within 72 hours of my initial online inquiry as a brand-new customer, we had a new unit blowing beautiful cold air. From repair to sales to installation, the entire team explained what they were doing and why. A truly first-class, fairly priced experience. Highly recommend!

  Had an emergency call in as our air handler was not blowing cold air on the hottest week of the summer. We were able to get same-day service and our technician, Ben, was very kind and knowledgeable at diagnosing the problem. EDIT: It appears the high quotation for the following post may have been due to getting the part from the air handler company rather than the control board manufacturer, and not Betlem themselves. Always worth looking around! Original post: I was disappointed however that the control board we needed was put on order with over a week's lead time due to the holiday. However I was able to find the same part available same day and at almost a tenth of the quoted price. We will see whether our alternate option works out but if it does we will have saved a lot more money to get our handler fixed much sooner.

  Andrew was awesome. He basically saved me from a scam I believe. A company came out the day before him and said my AC unit was completely fried needing a $12k repair. Andrew found that the power disconnect switch was turned upside down preventing the unit from working. He flipped it back into the correct position and it fired right up. He inspected it and found it is in perfect working order. Betlem’s fantastic and they’re just good, honest people.
