Fermin serviced my A/C unit and has it working better than it has in years. He is so knowledgeable and explained what he was doing every step of the way . He stopped to get approval in advance providing pricing and options along the way. Fermin is the best!

They're very large, treat their customers like dirt, and are willing to walk out on you before completing a repair. They charged 2-3x the price for the same diagnostic as anyone else. Otherwise very good...Additional Info: I apologize in that I did gloss the subject originally. They did diagnose the system. Most firms seem to charge about $200 for a quick diagnostic. $600 is normally done if you go through a verified diagnosis with Fujitsu. They charged $600, but according to Fujitsu did not contact them. Then the told me it was an 8 week wait for part number 1085663. I told them it was not a Fujitsu part number, and then they gave that part number to me in an email. According to the manufacturers of that part, it is not from Fujutsu. Fujitsu says the part number for their diagnosis is 9900965013. After informing me it was an 8 week back order (which can cause mission critical problems for a small business), they never submitted a quote with a price to proceed. One week later I contracted with another company to do the repair. Part 9900965013, according to the Fujitsu parts department, is in stock and available in Cal and NJ. The other company did quickly diagnose a problem with the PCB board, but they were not completely confident it was broken, so the thermistor repair will proceed. These types of rational discussions are possible at smaller companies. Artic was regimented. Trying to get information from the technician on a good day involved 20 minutes arguing to get someone to ask, and then they simply don’t do it. I still don’t know if the reason for their 8-week back order was because it was the wrong part. They did contact me about 1 week after their diagnosis to see what they could do to clear up my review. I was about to contract with another firm, but mentioned the part as a problem and that I might be able to get it myself more quickly. They said they would not do the work if I supplied the part. When I refused to retract the review I was told, "You have a small business, you know what it's like. You never know WHAT's going to show up in your reviews. I'm not making a threat or anything. Just what goes around, comes around. Karma's a b..ch" I am reporting facts and leave the judgment to the reader.

Nelson was extremely courteous and took the time to explain the options we had in resolving our HVAC issue. He diagnosed the problem and gave me 3 alternatives to select from. It was very nice working with him - I only hope that if I need Artic Mechanical services again that Nelson will be the technician. Thanks.
