- CMCara MooreJul 2, 20261.0Made an online appointment, got a text message at 6:34am to shut down the system so the repair tech would be able to service it during our 12pm-2pm time slot. Begrudgingly we did in the 100 degree weather, at 11:40 I called to ask for an ETA on the tech. At 1:30pm i was told the tech is running behind at their current call and they needed to move our window of time to 2-4pm. At 3:36 i get a text stating the tech would be arriving shortly, at 4:28 I called again because he had still not arrived. I was told he was coming from a call in QUEENS! and would be leaving NR shortly to come to us. At this point my husband told me to cancel as we had now had our air shut off for 11 hours and our house was stifling and it was no longer safe for anyone to be in it. I am appalled for so many reasons. I get that this massive heat wave is going to increase calls but the constant lying and jerking around all day is unacceptable especially because I had to chase down updates all day. What is even worse is the company we got to come out instead told we should have never shut our system down!
