Anthony was excellent, professional, knowledgeable, courteous. In addition, and just as important, Anthony spent time determining the problem with the air distribution flow. He fixed a few things while here and recommended a process that T F O’Brien provides to ensure dampers are in place for each vent/room and opened at the proper level. I will follow up to schedule this process within a couple of weeks. Anthony is also a very nice guy!

Dennis was professional and knowledgeable and extremely thorough. Dennis is as reliable and dependable as the Daiken ductless quad unit you installed in 2019. Thanks again.

Nick is the perfect technician with TF O’Brien to find where the problem is coming from and follow up with fixing what has gone wrong. My Wife and I were so distraught over the recent Air Conditioning breakdown that within less than 48 hours TF O’Brien was able to locate a replacement outdoor compressor unit and have it installed by Nick and Rob on their day off Saturday morning. They took out the bad unit and replaced the new unit before 10:00am, just in time for our grandchildren arriving for the day. I wish to thank Tom and Rich for finding the compatible unit in one day and having it installed the next day. We’ve been with TF O’Brien since 2004 and have had their team of technicians servicing our system yearly ever since. We trust every employee we met along the way and will remain confident in the future, especially after what was accomplished this week.
Made a service appointment several weeks in advance. My tenant, a nurse, had to take the day off to be home for the visit. After a seven-hour wait, the technician confirmed what I already suspected: the filter needed replacing and the refrigerant pressure was low. He then told me he didn't have a filter for my unit and couldn't add refrigerant until one was installed. I called the office while he was still in the house and was told no other technician was available with a filter, and that even if one were, they couldn't recharge the system that day because the outside temperature was too cool (76°). So after my tenant lost an entire day of work, absolutely nothing was accomplished. A filter replacement is one of the most routine parts of any HVAC service call. If they weren't going to carry one, someone should have contacted me for the unit details or let me know to have one on hand. I had weeks of lead time and would have gladly picked one up myself. Instead, we're back to square one. The one thing I will credit them for is that when I told them I wasn't going to pay for a visit that accomplished nothing, they didn't push back and didn't charge me. That's the reason this is two stars instead of one.
