  We had a Generac installed August 2021. I gave them 5 stars but it should be 10 stars! Starting from Ed, the Boss, and including everyone that we dealt with, they are knowledgable, understanding, efficient, and professional. I could not rave enough about the entire company. Bravo to Gen-Ready in Kings Park!

  I contacted GenReady last April to discuss options for installing a full house generator at my home. After discussing a few months my husband and I decided to move forward and on October 19th it was installed. From the MOMENT I started speaking with Gen Ready I felt like i was in expert hands. They had an excellent reputation, but I had not really dealt with them yet. Their reputation was what brought me to them. From the moment I met them it was just a great experience. They came to my home and discussed options. Ed's expertise showed when he recommended sizes, options and the ALL important placement. He also asked the RIGHT questions and let us know the options we would be interested in and would work well fro our home. One of the reasons for my exemplary review is not only the quality of work THEY did, but the quality of vendors they choose to represent them. We had a 1000 gallon propane tank buried. This means trucks coming in and out to deliver the tank. Then trucks and backhoes to move and bury the tank. This company was VERY careful about my sprinkler heads, my Belgian block around the driveway and my property. I could see they KNEW what they were doing and were experts at it. The day of installation was no different. The people from Gen Ready were experts at what they did. They worked with the plumbing vendors that day to run all the lines to the generator. GenReady was careful and deliberate in the work they did to and in my home. They had all the experience they needed to make sure all my panels were correct and placed accordingly in the basement. They ran lines all along the basement ceilings, and when they encountered a little hiccup (my home issue, not their skill) they worked with us for a solution, they just didn't "barrel" ahead and do what they wanted. This is an EXPERT company that is an EXPERT in what they do. They hire the right vendors. They made sure my job was complete and i was happy and satisfied every step of the way. Lastly, it says a lot that they are very busy. Yet there wasn't a time I called the office to ask a question or get clarity on something that the staff (Lindsay!) was a pleasure to deal with. They made me feel like I was their only customer and my concerns and questions were important. They made me feel my business was important to them. I could not recommend this company more and will be telling all my friends. This is, by far, the best vendor I have hired to do work at my home in all the years I have I owned a home. And I don't say that lightly. You are in expert, careful and skilled hands with GenReady.
