  Once a year I wanted my boiler to be cleaned and without fail every time they come to clean the boiler they tell me it does not need to be cleaned and that I need a new part every year it’s been costing me over $1000. they always find something wrong four years ago was the last time we had service. The maintenance guy told me I needed a new pump for my gas boiler plus a $1000 tank we purchased the tank told him I’ll take my chances with the pump. The boiler runs fine for four years and as far as cleaning it, I went on YouTube and learned how to clean it myself. It’s a shame ever since Jose left The service is not the same very sad. I guarantee if you call them for boiler service they will find something wrong at least that’s what happened to me. I’m done with it now. I’m wondering if I ever really needed the $1000 tank who knows I learned my lesson.

  We had Gold Star come out because our 6-year-old boiler suddenly stopped producing hot water. The system has been regularly serviced over the years, so we expected a straightforward diagnosis and repair. Instead, we were told we needed to spend over $1,000 to replace a sensor they believed was failing, with the alternative being $3,000+ for other potential long-term solutions. For a boiler that’s only six years old and has been maintained, this was already frustrating. What happened next was even worse. Just five days after their visit, our boiler started leaking. Gold Star has already been here before to deal with a leak a year or so back, and it’s leaking again. We still don’t have hot water, and now we’re being told the entire system may need to be replaced. Instead of fixing our original issue, we’ve ended up with an even bigger problem than when we started. We’ve spent time and money without a resolution, and our boiler is now in worse condition than before they worked on it. Based on our experience, I can’t recommend Gold Star. We called them to repair a lack of hot water, and after even though they came to look, we still do not have hot water, have a leaking boiler, and we now need to replace a relatively new system. That’s simply unacceptable.

  Years of terrible service that I’m glad to finally be rid of. Installed a boiler in 2020 and has been giving us nothing but problems. Then when a technician came to service the broken unit he commented at what a poor job it was and said “oh yeah everyone was cutting corners back then”. As if you weren’t the morons who installed the thing in the first place! The owner does not care about the customer and hires incompetent technicians. If there was a 0/5 star I would give it to them. Avoid at all costs.

  AC went out at worst time possible but these guys came out right away. Explained what was going on as they worked through the problem, diagnosed in minutes then got right on repairing. I’m so grateful to have called them-they’re the pros!
