  I was a customer with Windorama for about 20yrs.My last order came in wrong because of their customer service representative’s.They aren’t taking responsibility and making me pay an extra $2500.I am in the process of canceling my account and taking my future business to another supplier.Very disappointed.There loss, does not make sense to me but they don’t seem to care.

  I had a frustrating and disappointing experience with WindowRama. I placed a small order — three windows, two of which were the same model. The two windows were supposed to be ready for pick up within 2-3 days and six weeks for the other window. A week went by, I didn’t hear anything, so I called to follow up and was told that my order was cancelled (I didn’t cancel the order and the salesman didn’t have an explanation). The order gets placed again and I wait a few days for the windows to arrive. No issues with the pick up, I drop the windows off for my contractor to install. I did not unpack the windows to keep them protected which was a mistake, because after my contractor had installed them, I realized that these were not the specific windows that I had ordered. It’s important to note that I sent a separate email to the salesman before signing the contract with the exact specifications and it was acknowledged. So now I have paid for two windows that are different from what I ordered, I’ve paid my contractor to install windows different from what I ordered. It took me many emails and weeks of phone calls to get the salesman on the phone….he didn’t have a solution despite my frustration. Ultimately ended up refunding me about $200 because he realized he placed the order incorrectly. Terrible experience overall and would recommend shopping elsewhere.

  I purchased replacement windows, two sliding doors, and a front door from Shaheed. He brought knowledge and valuable insight to the selection process. There were many checks and balances in place to ensure we ordered the correct product for our space. I cannot speak to the quality of the product since we’re in the process of installation, but so far so good!

  Terrible experience. Order a door and door knobs. Door came damage, door knobs were not what I've ordered. Door knobs were replaced but with the door I had a lot of problems. They were always postponing the delivery date, making false promises saying they would call me to give me a response. After over a month, when the door finally arrived, it wasn't the door I ordered!!! I had to wait (and keep calling) even more 2-3 weeks to finally have the right door with me. I do not recommend this store.

  Unfortunately I can't leave a minus star for this company. I went to Windowrama in Hartsdale and ordered new windows and patio doors for my townhouse. I had Windowrama install them so that there would be no conflict if there was any problems with the installation. Silly me, I thought that Windowrama would be doing the installation. It turns out that they no longer install but they subcontract the installation. The contractor that did my installation was incompetent. After the first rain, I found water in the tracks of both sets of patio doors. A technician was sent out and told me that the doors were installed incorrectly. He adjusted the doors. At the next rain, one of the doors still had water in the tracks. A technician came out again and finally fixed the problem. My windows and patio doors were installed 10 months ago. Two weeks ago, the cover of the latch that opens the window snapped off. I went to the store to see if they had a replacement. Of course they did not. They wrote up a report and told me that service would get in touch with me. Three phone calls and two weeks later I finally got a call from the service department. I was told they would check with Andersen to see if they had the part available. They asked if I wanted to install the part once it arrived. I told them no and I was informed that it would take 1 month from the time they received the part for a technician to install it!! Avoid this place.
