- AAAlban AstafaAug 10, 20261.02022: paid 14k to replace HVAC system in restaurant. Ventilation fans are all blocked by the new vents they installed. So kitchen is all hot. Could’ve upgraded to a bigger compressor with more BTU’s. But that wasn’t even a thought. 2021: huge mopsink installed in a tight restaurant kitchen. When a smaller one could’ve been installed to acknowledge and respect the tight space. $4500. 2024, AC down at my home. $350 to replace a capacitor. (Their office is 10 mins from my home) Second AC unit broke, a month later. I YouTubed it and fixed it for $10 and 1 hour of education time. Now I can do it in 5 mins. 2023, I called them to fix electric water heater. They said we usually replace them and it will be $4k. Left me with a service call bill and a non working water heater. And I fixed it myself in 1 hour. 2024, 50 year old exhaust fan broke at my store. They replaced it. 2 years later, it breaks. And they start giving me a hard time about showing up to fix it because 1 time it took to long for him to get paid $300... ignoring 10’s of thousands of dollars worth of work. And how there will be a $350 service call just to show up to diagnose. A fan managed to last 50 years. Now it breaks in 2 years… and it costed $3500 to replace. Not to mention constant $300-$500 calls to check AC and other issues. In the very end. Jeff tells me today that he’s far too busy to even send someone to go even look at it today. When it’s the same fan that he himself installed that broke within 2 years. Left in 90 degree weather with no exhaust fan for a hot pizza oven. So easily forgotten. Thank you A&I 🙏🏼
