I had a very disappointing experience with WindowRama in Franklin Square.
I ordered several parts and waited about a month for them to arrive. When I went to pick them up, the order was completely mixed up and the parts were not what I had requested.
When I tried to correct and reorder the parts, I was told that only the employee who originally placed the order could help me. I came back more than once, but that person was not available, and no other employee was willing to assist me. Instead of taking responsibility for the incorrect order, the staff began blaming me and accused me of yelling, which was not true.
I later went to another WindowRama location in Queens, where I encountered the same employee and was again treated as though the problem was my fault.
This was an unnecessarily frustrating experience. I was simply trying to purchase a few parts, and I expected the company to correct its mistake and provide reasonable customer service. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this location based on my experience.

Not ready for prime time. Windowrama has the worst customer service. They act as if they are being helpful but there is no follow up and plenty of incompetence. We tried to work with Shawn Kelly of Farmington, NY and his in house staff but received many promises and no follow through. I would avoid working with Windowrama. They are time wasters and do not live up to the expectations they broadcast in their commercials. We contacted them in February 2026 any to date have not heard back from them with a final order follow up and it’s now July 2026. (Avoid at all costs )

If I could give less than a one star I would. We ordered a door in April and it was just delivered today 2 months later. But the fun begins when you walk in the show room and you get huffs and puffs from sales people who are miserable in their jobs first. Then you ask to see different types of doors, finishes and you would think that a sales person would want to help you but no! Then instead of showing you what the door will look like, they draw you a picture on a piece of paper that looked like a kindergartener could have done better, it was a box with squares in it. Then you go over hardware and finish with them and when the door gets delivered there is no hardware and the sales person tells you he can’t remember if I didn’t tell him or he just forgot to order it!. I specifically remember telling him because I was with my husband and we picked out the same finishes as our other features around the house. So the delivery held up our whole project and now the door is cooked as well and they are Toronto figure this out now. For $7500 I would have thought we would have gotten what we thought we ordered. I will NEVER order from them again and will definitely be using another company for the other doors we were going to get. Bottom line, don’t ever use these guys period. If there was communication on the delivery being delayed that would have been understood but he knew the delivery was held up because of “mechanical” issues and never communicated that to us. In business, communication is key. And they do not know how to do this. Horrible! Period!

Door and window ordered if Feb…Supposed to be installed in April. Door came damaged and window came in wrong size. It’s now June and this is my front door after thousands of dollars already spent. Can’t get hold of anyone and manufacture is MIA.
