  Very disappointed today. After bringing in my snowblower for a major tune up and receiving exceptional service, I recommended the place to a medium size landscaping service who were very please with the service. Then there was today. My Briggs and Stratton Troy Bilt pressure washer needed a tune up. I bring it over, take it out of my SUV, bring it up to the door and start to walk in only to be greeted with, leave that outside. No hello, happy to see you, I'll be with you shortly, not even a chance to say what I needed. Within a minute I am met outside with, we don't do those. What do you mean, you don't do those? We don't service that kind, too small. I said, here look, it still has the orange service tag with my name on it from the last time I brought it here. Oh, that's from the previous owner, we don't service those. I'm thinking, wait, you service lawnmower engines, don't you? Well good luck as the new people and hopefully you will be around as long as the previous owner. Loaded the pressure washer back in the SUV and drove off.

  Dropped my Honda generator off over 2 weeks ago to get a simple service - oil, plugs and air filter. Went by on Saturday (they did not answer the phone) and was told it'd be done on Monday. Called on Tuesday and was told it was "the next work order" to get done. Called Thusday morning (today) and was told they were were waiting on a "special spark plug". Quickly checked Amazon only to find the plug is readily available with overnight delivery. Told them I was coming to pick it up and would change the plug myself. Went by only to be told "the plug just came in" and it would be ready by close of business. Took my generator back - they had not even started working on it (oil not changed, air filter not changed) and left. I guess I was not one of the fortunate customers who felt they deserved a 5 Star rating. Zero chance of my going back there as the chap at the register was told to write a note by my name not to accept and work from me in the future. Well done Power Equipment Plus East Meadow.

  Carlin, the Manager, is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. I was unable to find a Snapper Dealer close to my home. Carlin instantly knew that Briggs & Stratton acquired Snapper. He ordered shear bolts for me from Briggs and explained how to install them.
