  Sam and DJ just finished raising our 50-year-old concrete porch floor and sealing a gap that had developed between the concrete and the house. They were meticulous, professional, and clearly took pride in their workmanship. From start to finish, our experience with Groundworks has been seamless. It’s refreshing to work with people who genuinely care about doing the job right. We couldn’t be happier with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sam, DJ, and Groundworks to family and friends.

  Anthony, Kyle and Jefferson serviced my neighbor’s house. They added a bunch of drainage after my neighbor found some moisture in their basement. My neighbor was very happy with the quality of their work and especially the effort they went to to make everything look nice and clean afterwards (lots of digging and French drains, but the lawn was restored so well you couldn’t even tell work was done. I’m writing this review because they noticed I had a couch that I had put out for garbage day to be picked up and they left it there. Anthony came over and asked if I’d like to have them haul it away since the garbage company just left it. Going way above and beyond. I will absolutely use them if I have a need for similar work in the future.

  Ryan Kamanu was fantastic to work with! From the moment he arrived, he was professional, approachable, and very easy to talk to. He did a thorough evaluation of our basement and took the time to explain what was contributing to our moisture concerns and what could be done to help keep the space dry. What stood out most was how well Ryan communicated everything. He answered every question we had, explained the process in a way that was easy to understand, and made sure we felt comfortable with the information he provided. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in what he does. We really enjoyed working with Ryan and were very impressed with the experience from start to finish. Groundworks is lucky to have him representing their company. Highly recommend!

  We had a great experience with Ryan Kamanu from Groundworks. He came out to inspect our basement and talk with us about options for keeping it dry, and he was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough throughout the entire visit. Ryan took his time looking at everything, explaining what he found, and walking us through the recommended solution. He was very patient with all of our questions and made sure we understood everything before making any decisions. We never felt rushed, and we really appreciated how personable and professional he was. Ryan was a pleasure to work with and made what could have been an overwhelming process much easier to understand. We had a wonderful experience with him and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for help with their basement. Five stars! If you live in the capital region, ask for Ryan!

  Groundworks came highly recommended by an employee who speaks so highly of the company. I was initially hesitant, but after a few weeks, I finally submitted a request for an inspection and estimate. I was blown away by the communication and professionalism from the very beginning. Ryan Kamanu reached out to confirm the appointment, arrived exactly when he said he would, and took the time to listen to all of my concerns. He never rushed our appointment and was extremely patient throughout the entire process. He provided several options to address the issue and gave me quotes on the spot, which made it easy to move forward. I ended up scheduling the work while he was still on site. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that we are in good hands with Ryan and the Groundworks crew. I’m very impressed with the experience so far and excited to see the final outcome. Highly recommend!
