  The guys did a very nice job. Communicated well on how long it would take and what they were working on the 2 days they were there. Did a nice job setting the A/C unit out side and neat work inside.

  Suburban installed a Generac generator at our house in July 2020. When we asked about getting an extended warranty they just recommended to continue with annual service which we did religiously. Recently while on vacation a suburban services employee appeared at our house when we were not at home and I could see him on the ring doorbell but could not see him walking back-and-forth to the generator but I was told he had provided the service. A week later the red light comes on. A week after that I’m told it needs a starter. A week after that I’m told that the engine is ruined. The week after that I’m told that the engine turns and the starter is installed a week after that I have Ambrose come to give a second opinion and they tell me the engine block is cracked and it is ruined. Discerning minds on Reddit suggested that the service was not provided and oil was not installed but there’s no way to prove that. Neither Generac nor Suburban will do anything for me and I now have a completely ruined generator. Very disappointed as neither Suburban nor Generac will do anything for us. I would look to a different company but unfortunately Generac is the number one generator company in the US and it’s hard to find an alternative.
