BUYER BEWARE!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!BUYER BEWARE!!!!
I hired Cary insulation after having an evaluation by their salesman Joe. He suggested using spray foam on the undercarriage of my home in the crawl space for an optimal moisture barrier. The installer was here and gone very quickly so I questioned the fact that he had done full coverage as promised and paid for. He assured me the job was done correctly.
Sadly I believed him and now realize that Joe should have checked on the quality of the work as there was no one on the job to ensure the employee did an accurate job.
A few years later when selling my house I failed the inspection. I was informed that the insulation should be the best moisture barrier when done properly. This job was a mess. There were gaps where no foam was present. In most areas there was only 1 inch of insulation when there should have been at least 2-3 inches. The improper job caused many moisture problems and this caused me to loose the buyer.
I reached out to Joe and asked if he could come take a look and at least fill in the gaps and bring the layer to 2 inches.
He promised to look into it after pulling my invoice and get back to me. That was another lie. I have called continuously, only to be given excuse after excuse as to why he wont take my calls.
Having to resolve this with another company to correct their mess has proven to be astronomically high.
This company is NOT HONORABLE.....DO NOT HIRE THEM!
I am a single woman and I believe they assumed correctly that I would not be going under my home to check on the work so therefore did a bum job and I am now paying the price for hiring them.

Avoid this company.
This is a company that has been in this business for a long time with no regard to home owners. They have built a network of connections with contractors to get jobs that they come in and try to wrap up quick. They follow old standards and have very little regard to newer methods to help homeowners to save on energy costs.
There is no attention to detail and some of the staff are difficult to deal with.
Their work is sloppy.
After much complaining they did eventually come to rectify some things. They did not however do their full diligence to get everything squared to make things fully right. There may be many gaps in my insulation job which are now covered up that will leach energy costs for decades.

If there was an option to give zero stars, I would have chosen that. Matt gave us an estimate initially for blown in insullation for existing walls in our home. We got an approximate job date which came and went and still Matt was not getting back to us. We called the office but there seemed to be a huge disconnect. Finally Matt reached out to us to say it would be a Monday, then again to say nope, it would be Friday Fine. He said he'd know by Thurs afternoon what time the guys would be at my house.
Being 8 months pregnant and with a toddler, I didnt want to be in the house while blown in insulation was being sprayed so my father was coming to sit at the house from Nassau. There was so much to arrange for all of that to happen, including packing up the baby and 2 dogs, but we never heard from Matt despite numerous calls and texts. The guys showed up at 7:30am the next day. I asked them to give me 10 minutes to get ourselves out of their way and they commented that many customers complain that they don't get a call with the arrival time of the crew. I called the office to complain but they didnt seem to reqlly care saying "our contractors make their own hours" and "Matt knew you were the 1st stop."
I left when my father arrived. When my husband arrived home from work later and saw the job he called me upset. He said it was nothing like what Matt had described it would be like. Matt had said there would be 3 holes up and down every 16" across. (We hired a painter to come in the next day to fix them all). Instead there was one hole up and down going across and in noe was insulation visible. Matt had also never passed by the job to "make sure it was done correctly" as he had told me he would.
Our painter, who had also spoken to Matt to get on the same page, came over to see the job. He brought a camera which was inserted into the holes and many had little insulation, SOME HAD NO INSULLATION. We removed some wood paneling that was on the walls that had not been drilled through (as it was supposed to because it was going to be replaced) and removed a small piece of sheetrock to find absolutely no insullation in that area. Matt at this point was again not returning our calls or texts.
This went on for days. Matt would not respond, the office offered no solutions and we kept calling, leaving voicemail and texting. Finally Matt texted back saying they'd come fix it but then he was out of touch again. He finally came to the house and took pictures and confirmed that the job was not done the way it ahould have been. That was then pushed back. Then he said company was refusing to come back and fix it and we would get our money back. We spoke with an attorney and let the office know this was our next step since we couldn't trust their word and then Matt called again to say they would be fixing it afterall on Friday.
Today is Thursday and its 7:21 pm. After several calls and texts, Matt has not responded with a time we should expect him or the guys tomorrow. Without a confirmation, my husband can not take a day off of work just for them not to show up. I am currently staying at my moms in Nassau (for a week now) since my walls are opened and insullation exposed, 8 months pregnant, could go into labor anytime far from my hospital, and with the weekend coming pushing this all back even further. Even if I found another company to fix this tomorrow, it will be next week, Christmas week, before anything can get done IF anyone is even working that week.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE NOT ONLY UNPROFESSIONAL BUT COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS OR PEOPLE. HUGE SCAM!!

John the guy that gave the estimate was a great guy. Only problem is they can’t seem to get their scheduling together. After giving me a date, I rearranged my schedule (kids/work/hospital) to accommodate and then they tell me no we pushed you back another week. “we have 50 other jobs lined up, so scheduling fills up quick”. All that tells me is that I as a customer am not important nor is my business. Moved on to another company that can keep a schedule. It’s a shame that there is no such thing as customer service or even consideration for others anymore.
