  We had a small tile repair job in our bathroom done recently. Our handyman Wayne was able to get scheduled within and finished the job sooner than expected. The surprising part was a $65 trip charge which was quite high for a Binghamton based company doing a job in Vestal.

  I waited a few weeks before posting this. I’m very happy with the thorough work Tom from Ace did repairing our bathroom after years of hidden water damage. He addressed the underlying issues, including leaks, damaged subflooring, and carpenter ants, before installing new flooring, a toilet, and a vanity. He also repaired water damage in the room below. I really appreciated Tom ensuring the underlying problems were tracked down and fixed properly rather than just covered up. The bathroom looks great and functions beautifully! We’ve also used Ace for gutter repairs and had an equally positive experience. Highly recommend!

  I hired Ace Handyman Services So. Tier to clean my gutters. The price was established up front and there was no changes. The men showed up on time and got right to work. They practiced safety throughout the process of setting up the ladder, moving it and climbing. One man spotted the climber at all times. They were polite, friendly and professional. I would hire them again for gutter cleaning and any other tasks I cannot complete myself.

  Wayne came and helped fix my issue very quickly. He helped unstick a washing machine which had been stuck in a custom cabinet for years. We had a number of people take a look at this with no success, but he figured it out in less than 10 minutes. Great service and communication!

  My husband and I had a GREAT experience with Tom at Ace Hardyman last week. We inherited our first home when my mother passed and with 2 busy boys some repairs accumulated- our son tripped and caught himself on the attic wall, putting a sizeable hole in the wall, the bathroom vanity had water damage from a leak years back, the mirror cabinet needed to be replaced, the front porch had a wiggly step, and a few other small repairs. With my husband working in IT and myself in art neither of us are very handy so my husband did some research and landed on Ace Hardyman after reading reviews and we're so glad we went with them! Tom was SO friendly, did EXCELLENT work, was punctual, and was all around just a pleasure to have in our home! We have 4 cats and 1 of them, our dark gray hairless Sphynx named Loki, LOVED Tom and kept following him, begging for attention- Tom was MORE than happy to pause and give Loki some love 😅 (My husband offered to intervene if Loki became over bearing but Tom didn't mind having a supervisor that looked like an angry raisin in a sweater, LOL!) The price of labor and supplies was EXTREMELY fair! For 6 hours of labor AND supplies it was $930 it was WELL worth it! Our bathroom looks brand new, the areas of dry wall look great, the step is fixed, and every other issue was ABSOLUTELY resolved! In total I had 10 things to address AND he helped my husband tighten a bolt on his car that he couldn't get on as he didn't have the right tool (that came up last minute and Tom was SUPER AWESOME to help). I would and WILL highly recommend Ace Handyman as well as use them for any further home repairs I have! Fantastic work and Tom is a gem!
