  Our AC stopped cooling on Sunday evening. I called early Monday AM and the first appointment I could get was around 11AM Tuesday. We were happy when Steve showed up a couple of hours early, quickly assessed our problem, completed the repair in 15 minutes, and our unit was cooling again. We chose Sierra Air because it is the company used by most of the people in our neighborhood and we have only heard great things about them. Thank you, Steve!

  Mike called when he was about 15 minutes out, which I had requested. He arrived and as stated he wore shoe covers, he was very professional and kind. A lot of workmen treat people that are over 60 as if they are invisible. Mike was not that person at all. He did exactly what I asked him to do & showed me the photos he took of the ducts and the flue. He charged me a reasonable rate, and left. If I ever have any work in that arena needing to be done, I will call them again and request Mike for my technician, if that’s something they do. Thanks very much to Mike and Sierra Air.

  My ac unit went out during a heat wave in August with temps up to 107. I was waiting for a quote from another company but it was taking too long. I called Sierra Air and they came out same day. Spent a few hours assessing the situation and gave me a quote and scheduled a repair date all in the same day. That response time alone gave me so much peace of mind. Donny was thorough and went line by line with me on the contract. Alex came out and worked late for two days straight in the extreme heat of my attic. He was very professional and cared about getting my family some cool air fast, but also wanted to be sure the job was done correctly. Ramon and CJ also worked hard and I appreciated their attention to detail. Overall a great experience with Sierra Air and I will of course call them again.

  My HVAC system was not cooling the house and would not keep up on hot days. Sierra techs came out and told me that my system was old and that I needed a complete replacement. An invoice was emailed with the advice to replace the compressor, blower motor and purge and replace the refrigerant for a total of $8,669. Today a professional technician from another company with over 30 years of experience came out and found that the blower capacitor was bad and replaced it. Replaced the air filter from a MERV 14 with a MERV 10 for better air flow. Checked out the blower motor and found it in good condition with no noise or vibration. Then the professional cleaned the condenser with water, removing dirt and debris from its pan. Tested the dual capacitor and contactor finding each within spec. For only $294 my system is running great! Sierra Air technicians are not troubleshooters; they are parts changers and salesmen.

Under house inspection, attic inspection, electrical inspection, heater filter inspection, central air conditioner inspection. Sierra Air is dialed in with expertise Services. Knowledgeable and informative. Techs found a problem with central air conditioner explained the problem explained the fix. Was not a priority but something to keep an eye on.
