- TTTom5 days ago1.0Riley Plumbing and Heating is conducting business unethically and potentially illegal. I was given one price ($800) to remove and replace a bathroom exhaust fan. The company would not give me cost of new fan and number of hours to complete work. Please avoid doing business with companies with these business practices. What else is this company doing to pricing and business practices.

I trust him and the company to take care of our Furnaces in Tahoe. Just signed up for the monitoring through their Thermostat upgrade/maintenance plan. Worth every penny knowing that they will be on top of it and know that there’s something wrong before I do.

I appreciate that they ultimately listened to my concerns and honored what I had been told when I signed up. I’m still disappointed that it took escalating the issue and posting a public review to reach this resolution, but I do want to give Riley credit for responding quickly and making it right. Very disappointing experience with Riley Plumbing. I signed up for their membership because their employee, Moises, said it’d provide a discount and that I could cancel any time with no charge. I clarified AGAIN to be certain, and he confirmed it. Now Riley refuses to honor what their employee told me. I spoke with the CEO, Aly, who said Moises no longer works there and that she would have reprimanded him for telling me that if he did. But somehow I’m still expected to bear the cost of his misinformation. I understand the importance of reading a contract, but customers should also be able to rely on direct answers from a company’s representative, especially when they specifically ask for clarification before signing. I would not sign up for a Riley membership.
