  Ivan is a quintessential master plumber and we always ask for him when we call Hawthorne HCP. His expertise is vast so he is able to explain the nature of the needed repairs and present options with pros and cons. He knows how to save money and headaches with investing in solutions that will not require another service call within a year. But the choice is left to the consumer. Ivan was so prompt to help us when our toilet supply line broke in May this year. He KNEW how the plastic fitting totally gave way when I tried to tighten it! And he told us about Moen Flo, which monitors water usage and shuts off the water if there’s an aberration (like 18 gallons per minute gushing from the toilet supply line!) We’re going on vacation action in a few weeks with complete peace of mind about not going through the horror show of another flood. We cannot express more fully our gratitude to Ivan for taking great care of us and our plumbing needs! He’s saavy, knowledgeable, truly caring about his clients, works quickly, discreetly, with complete confidence and professionalism, and it’s always a pleasure to have him in our home! Anytime we have a plumbing issue, we call Hawthorne and request Ivan, but all of their plumbers have been terrific if we can’t get on Ivan’s schedule!

  Have used Hawthorne Plumbing several times now and I’m never disappointed. Technicians arrive on time and the job gets done right the first time.

  Everyone at Hawthorne was wonderful to us. Getting us our new ac in record time, Elijah was very knowledgeable and so was his partner. A special shoot out to Shane. He got us all set up and we were very impressed with the whole team. They will be our go to guys for sure. THANKS SHANE!

  My air conditioning unit went out. I texted Hawthorne, and they sent out Elijah Macias the next day. Mr. Macias was very helpful and courteous. He explained and showed me the problem. He then provided 3 options. I selected the best one for my family. Mr. Macias went to work immediately. He completed the work. He then explained a helpful company program, which I selected. All in all, he made an unpleasant experience more acceptable.

  Good work but inflated prices. Hawthorne technicians I dealt with are courteous, professional, arrive on time, and typically provide reliable repair/replacement services. However, their pricing is heavily inflated, with at least $300 + charges for work that sometimes takes less than 30 minutes to complete, i.e., shower cartridge replacement. This wasn't the case when I started using them 15 years ago and while all prices have certainly increased since then, they didn't increase to a point where if calculated per hour, Hawthorne charges like a law firm for basic plumbing work. Hence, I won't be using them in the future.
