What a scam. I had a leaky bathroom faucet. I called for an appointment. They wanted $49 just to come out and give me a quote. I told them I need at least a general range or idea of the cost for a leaky faucet. I can’t pay $49 for them to come out and then risk them giving me a crazy or ridiculous quote.
They waived the fee luckily but my initial fear was right. They wanted $2,500 to replace the entire faucet and pipes. I told them no way. It’s a simple leaky faucet. So they said they could do it for $900 and only do part of the work. I am no plumber but this felt really expensive. I told them I’ll think about it.
I called another plumber. He came out and fixed it in about 15 minutes for $50.
This pay for a quote and then have an astronomically outrageous quote is a bait and switch scam when the work can be done by an honest plumber for 5% of the original quoted price.

My roommate called them for hvac cause our capacitor shorted out and went bad. They came the same day and looked everything over. Then proceeded to charge her 1,000 dollars for a hard start kit and labor...Then asked to go into the attic to check everything over and said all the venting needed to be replaced for 16,000 dollars and thats for being a preferred costumer that pays for a plan. They will try and say everything to rip you off. She cancelled her plan and they didnt even say sorry or tried to keep her as a customer. Look else where for your hvac needs please. This company is just a well disguised con artist.

Had them out 2 or 3 times. They tried their best to fix my AC unit. But as soon as 1 thing was fixed another would go. so we decided that instead of pouring more money into my system we decided to get a new one. They were there in last than an hhour. Brought a portable unit so my hubby and I would not burn up in 102 heat. They were as always nice informative and polite. Price was fair and even credited all the money I had payed for repairs on old unit toward new one. Things are very expensive these days. Just bought a washer and felt like I bought a masarata. The air works great. Sorry to Steve as I was stressed and called him for hours keeping him awake well Into 1am. there will always be people that are not happy with things. But I recommend fetch a tech. Even my dog loved them.

Made an appointment today at 3pm as they were able to get me in, I was shocked how quickly they could get me in. They scheduled me between 5 to 7 pm today 6/09/2026. I had called 7:15pm checking status when the tech would be here as I needed to run a quick errand and I was told he was running late with the job he was on, but that I was next after he was done and that I would be ok to run my errand and they would call me when he was on his way. I received a text at 8:39 that Jorge Garcia was my Tech, so I am thinking he is on his way. Then I noticed I had a missed call at 8:40pm, but no one left a message. Then I seen another missed call from a different number at 8:59pm which I called back right away thinking it was him, but it was Fetch's # and I requested to have the tech text me as my phone sometimes recognizes calls as spam and I also asked that it's so dark outside, how are they doing to be able to check anything. I didn't get an answer on that, but that they would relay the message for the tech to text me. Now it's 9:40pm STILL NOTHING. I called upset that how can my appt take this long when I was scheduled between 5 to 7pm and now it's almost 10pm and that people do have to work. She asked me if I wanted to reschedule and I said to just cancel my appointment and that this was just bad business and hung up. This is so unprofessional and then getting closer to being 3 hours late after your 5pm to 7pm window appointment time is ridiculous. Conduct better business and contact your customers if your tech is running late, by calling or texting them with updates rather than not hearing anything at all and wonder if they might not even show up. There should be no reason the customer has to call you for status.

One if the most important things to look for in any company is their response, or lack of, to issues that may arise down the road. I didn't know a thing about Fetch-A-Tech before purchasing an air con, buying it on blind faith. Sure enough, a few problems developed afterwards and instead of ducking them, the management team stepped up, sent a very qualified technician over, and made things right. It's a new day there with new workers on all levels now...Adam and Manny are in charge and they make sure that customer satisfaction is prioritized. Without going into a lot of detail, trust me...they made sure the proper repairs were done, actually correcting a previous company's mistakes. I've bought two units from them the past several years (one for me, one for my daughter), and can conclude Fetch-A-Tech's service philosophy is top notch. If you're looking to get the rock bottom price on an install, be careful who you hire. Because those lower prices can often come with shoddy workmanship and shortcuts taken. I have every reason to believe Fetch-A-Tech can be relied upon to fix whatever problems crop up. It's also a wise idea to purchase a service plan from them, in the event something unusual happens. Nobody wants to be in a house that's got a faulty air con...at least not in this 115 degree summer climate.
