If I could give 10 stars for this company I would. Julian, the owner, is the type of person you would want to deal with in every industry. I use this company for my HVAC, plumbing, and even electrical, all of which they get done the right way with permits and all. This is the type of company you want to use, where the owner is always involved making sure the job is done right.
I've had them convert a house from a swamp cooler to air conditioning, which was a huge job involving electrical, permitting, etc.. This is when I found out they are a stand up company. They repaired the same house that got flood damages from a dishwasher fitting breaking. They fixed a furnace for around Thanksgiving under the gun to get the heat back on during freezing weather. I could keep going and going. It has been 3 years now, and I've used them over a dozen times. I continue to use them for my rentals, and I recommend them for all my family and friends. Do yourself a favor and use this company!

We’ve used them a few times now and have always had a great experience. They’re very knowledgeable, do excellent work, and their prices are great. They’ve cleaned and repaired our mini-split units, and we’ve been very happy with the results. Highly recommend!

Julian at Reliable Climate Control just finished a bathroom remodel for us. We couldn't be happier with the result. He converted a tub/shower into a beautiful walk in shower. His crew were always polite and communicated well. Julian gave us updates along the way and provided lots of choices. The quality of work is excellent and he included thoughtful details we didn't think of that really elevated the whole project. We got a bathroom sink and counter to match the shower, a new fan with a timer, and a ceiling light. Materials were high quality and we paid exactly the price we agreed on at the beginning of the project.

Julian, Harrison and crew did a first class job on installing this new Bosch Mini-Split Invertor AC /Heater in our house! Paid a tiny bit more for the cement pad that Harrison made for it. So much better than sitting on packed dirt!
Julian went out of his way to get ahold of me while I was shopping for a system to let me know that there were two PNM rebates available - I got one, saved $865.! Wow, doesn't get any better!
Now when my neighbors burn leaves and trash, the swamp cooler won't be blowing smoke in the house.
So happy we got this system, nice clean air.
I highly recommend Julian with Reliable, he is a local New Mexican, the kind of person you welcome into your home to do this. So very pleased! Cool, dry air. Looking forward to winter where it probably replace our pellet stove.
Frequently Asked Questions About Reliable Climate Control Solutions
How can I tell if my air conditioner has a bad capacitor?
A failing air conditioner capacitor can cause symptoms such as difficulty starting, a humming sound without the system turning on, frequent shutdowns, or an outdoor unit that isn't running properly. A technician can diagnose the capacitor by inspecting the component and testing its electrical performance against the manufacturer's specifications. Because capacitors can retain an electrical charge, replacing one should generally be handled by a qualified HVAC professional. Reliable Climate Control Solutions can diagnose HVAC problems and determine whether a capacitor or another component is causing the issue.
How should I clean my HVAC coils?
Keeping your coils clean helps your HVAC system transfer heat efficiently and maintain proper airflow. For an outdoor condenser, remove leaves, grass and loose debris from around the unit and keep vegetation trimmed back so air can circulate freely. More thorough coil cleaning may require specialized equipment and cleaning solutions, particularly when dust and debris have built up between the fins.
This is especially important in Albuquerque, where dust and debris can accumulate on outdoor condenser coils. Professional HVAC maintenance can include thorough cleaning and inspection to help the system operate efficiently.
What are the different ways to clean an air conditioner?
There are several parts of an air conditioning system that can benefit from cleaning. Homeowners can regularly replace or clean the air filter as recommended, remove leaves and debris from around the outdoor condenser, and keep the area surrounding the unit clear to promote good airflow. Depending on the condition of the system, professional maintenance may also include cleaning the indoor and outdoor coils, inspecting the condensate drain, and cleaning other accessible components.
In Albuquerque's dry, dusty climate, regular cleaning and maintenance are especially important because dust and debris can accumulate on HVAC components and reduce efficiency. Reliable Climate Control Solutions includes thorough unit cleaning, filter changes and system inspections as part of its preventive maintenance services.
What is an anode rod, and why is it important in a water heater?
An anode rod is a metal component installed inside a tank-style water heater to help protect the tank from corrosion. The rod is designed to corrode before the steel tank does, which is why it is sometimes called a "sacrificial" anode rod. Over time, the rod can become depleted and may need to be inspected or replaced to continue protecting the water heater.
This is particularly relevant in Albuquerque, where mineral-heavy water can contribute to faster anode rod depletion and sediment buildup. Having the anode rod inspected during water heater maintenance or installation can help protect the tank and potentially extend its service life.
