- DMDaniel McCormackSep 24, 20265.0The company did an excellent job. Management kept me informed throughout the process
- KEKatree EdmondsSep 4, 20265.0Excellent customer service all around from Vinny to techs Chance and Nathan. Professional, excellent communication and friendly service. Solar panel work - replaced clamps, rails, and properly cinched up wiring. (Old clamp screws were stripped from previous removal and reinstall for a new roof.)
- JLJodi LynamAug 31, 20265.0Number One Plumbing is wonderful! I highly recommend! This company was my third quote that I solicited. They beat their competition far and away in both customer service and pricing! Additionally, Mitchell (great plumber) did not automatically assume that the problem was a busted sewer line (as the other companies did), but drilled down to the root of the problem! He took the least expensive route first, rather than the most expensive! It turns out that his 25 years of expertise and sheer gut intuitiveness was spot on!!!! He cleared the line of a myriad of debris - hydrojetting the line to run freely once again. Crisis and high costs avoided! Thank you Mitchell! You are a great asset to Number One, and a highly refreshing professional! Thank you for your labor and experience! Your companies contact info will now be our go to from this point forward! Thanks again!
- MSMariam SherAug 27, 20265.0Got me in the same day. Great job. Highly recommend.
- AFAmy FlynnAug 18, 20261.0The installation was delayed due to lack of communication with the tech, Cory, who did a GREAT job. Not only did he get the install done in the time allotted, he stood his ground for a better method for me and my rental. I used a personal cc for the down payment, then (with permission) wrote a business check for the full amount. More than 3 WEEKS LATER, I'm getting a check. They're new system wouldn't process the cc refund, so they will have a check ready for pickup tomorrow. No apologies, very little comm during ordeal. I adore Cory, but the office people soured me entirely on using Number 1 ever again.
Frequently Asked Questions About Number One Plumbing, A/C, Solar & Electric
How quickly can Number One Plumbing respond to a plumbing emergency in Albuquerque?
Number One Plumbing provides 24/7 emergency plumbing service across Albuquerque and the surrounding area with no additional charges for nights, weekends, or holidays. In most cases, a licensed plumber can be on-site within hours of your call.
What plumbing services does Number One Plumbing offer in Albuquerque?
We provide residential and commercial plumbing services, including drain cleaning, water-heater repair and replacement, sewer-line repair, leak detection, tankless water-heater installation, garbage-disposal repair, and 24/7 emergency plumbing.
Does Albuquerque’s hard water affect my plumbing?
Yes. Albuquerque’s hard water causes mineral buildup inside pipes, water heaters, fixtures, and appliances. This can restrict water flow, shorten equipment life, and increase energy costs. Water-softening or filtration equipment can help protect your plumbing.
How much does a plumber cost in Albuquerque?
Number One Plumbing uses upfront, flat-rate pricing, so you know the price before work begins. We do not charge additional fees for evenings, weekends, or holidays. Contact us for pricing based on your specific plumbing needs.
Is Number One Plumbing licensed and insured in New Mexico?
Yes. Number One Plumbing, A/C, Solar & Electric is fully licensed, bonded, and insured in New Mexico and has served Albuquerque homeowners and businesses for over 20 years.
Can you repair or replace a water heater the same day?
In many cases, yes. Our trucks carry many commonly needed water-heater parts, allowing us to complete numerous repairs during the initial visit. We service all major brands and work on both tank and tankless systems.
Do you provide plumbing services outside Albuquerque?
Yes. Number One serves Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, Corrales, Los Ranchos, and surrounding communities.
How often should I service my AC in Albuquerque?
Your AC should be serviced annually, preferably in March or April before temperatures rise. Albuquerque’s dust and cottonwood season cause coils to collect debris quickly, making annual maintenance especially important.
How long does an AC system last in Albuquerque?
Most residential AC systems last approximately 12–18 years with proper maintenance. Albuquerque’s heat and dusty environment can shorten that lifespan when the system is not serviced regularly.
When should I replace my swamp cooler instead of repairing it?
Replacement may be the better investment if your swamp cooler is more than 15 years old, requires repeated repairs, or can no longer maintain a comfortable temperature. A unit under 10 years old may still have considerable life remaining if the repair is reasonable.
What cooling-system brands do you service?
We service all major AC and evaporative-cooler brands, including Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Rheem, Ruud, Goodman, MasterCool, Breezair, and others.
How often should I schedule heating maintenance?
We recommend heating maintenance at least once annually, preferably during the fall before temperatures drop.
What should I do if my heating system won’t turn on?
Check the thermostat settings, confirm that the circuit breaker has not tripped, and inspect the air filter. If the system still will not operate, contact us for professional diagnosis and repair.
Are energy-efficient heating systems worth the investment?
Yes. Energy-efficient heating systems can reduce utility costs and improve comfort, making them a worthwhile long-term investment.
How can I improve indoor air quality through my heating system?
Consider using an appropriately rated high-efficiency filter, maintaining the ductwork, and installing a whole-home air-purification system. Our technicians can recommend suitable equipment for your home and existing HVAC system.
What replaced the PMA maintenance agreement?
The Uno Care Club is our updated membership program. It replaces the traditional preventative maintenance agreement and includes maintenance, priority service, repair protection, member pricing, and installation credits.
Do Uno Care Club members receive priority service?
Yes. Members receive priority scheduling, helping reduce wait times during peak heating and cooling seasons.
