  We had A1 come out to do an estimate for a new garage door. Really nice people that answered all our questions and took the time to present all information to us; that wasn't my issue. The problem I had was that when I got through the entire process (the two hour long visit for the quote, the presentation, the price, the talk about the warranty), I had almost thought I was buying a brand new car. It was kind of ridiculous and really a turn off that left a bad taste in my mouth for what should have been a really simple thing. I ultimately went with their competition who gave me a no-bs 20 minute visit offering a garage door with an even higher insulation value, better weather-stripping, and comparable service life for their parts at a cost of less than half of the unbelievable and staggering price point A1 had presented me with. But hey, if you're one of those people that enjoy the process of car buying and overpaying, then A1 might be the right company for you.

  We called to get a garage door repair. Unfortunately our door was unrepairable. So we Worked with Diego and Tanner. Both were very professional very nice. I appreciated them explaining things to my mom and I definitely recommended all post pictures when we get the new garage door. Have a great day.

  Diego was/is fantastic. He communicated that he was on his way, was on time. Diego is professional and friendly. Diego replaced the broken cables on my garage door, plus the spring that had broken. He replaced the old rollers on both garage doors and now they open very easily and quietly. I would recommend A1 Garage Door Service and especially Diego for your garage door needs. Thank you Diego, it was a pleasure chatting with you as you completed the necessary repairs.

  I was out of state and hired A1 to repair my 92-year-old aunt's garage door. They charged $300 just to manually open and close the garage door so she could get her vehicle out. They then provided an estimate of $1,500–$2,500 to repair the issue. My aunt also asked if they could help move some boxes so they could access the area, and they declined. The next day, I contacted another local garage door company. They repaired the actual problem, helped my 92-year-old aunt move the boxes, and charged just $294 for the entire job. Based on my experience, I found A1's pricing to be excessive compared to another reputable local company that resolved the issue quickly, professionally, and at a fraction of the cost.

  It’s been a very long time since I have had this high level of quality service. Aaron Tafoya was outstanding! He explained everything he was doing and we talk through all my options. He made certain everything was working as it should before he left and made sure I knew how to contact him if there were any issues. It was refreshing to see someone take this much pride in doing their job well. I will use A-1 Garage Door Service again if I have any other needs and I would recommend them to others.
