    We gave Harris quite a lot of business recently! We got our AC service upgraded to 200 amps, new AC panel, replaced our old HVAC system with new high efficiency heat pump and electric backup, and installed a new high efficiency heat pump hot water heater all in preparation for our solar panel system. All devices are top of the line Lennox. Our sales guy Bill Maguire was great at communicating with us throughout the process. The installation teams were quick and professional. When they ran across an installation issue, they took care of it and didn’t charge us extra for the extra time, equipment and labor. Technicians Wesley Sy, Yahir Torres, Nick Cappella, Lance Hern, Ted Kajkowski, Quinton Queen, and Tarik Hood all did a good job along with the associate technicians that worked with them. Our low ceiling and space constraints were a big challenge but they were able to make it work.

    To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting this formal complaint regarding the extremely unprofessional, misleading, and unacceptable service I received from your company during my recent plumbing service appointments. I initially called for assistance and was assured a technician would be sent out. The first technician arrived but stated he could not perform the necessary work and that my line needed to be snaked. An appointment was scheduled for the same day. When the technician returned to snake the line, I was specifically told that the cable went all the way to the end of the line with no issues. Based on that information, I was led to believe the blockage had been fully cleared. However, when the camera technician finally arrived—after multiple cancellations by your company—he stated that the cable had actually gotten stuck and could not go any further. He then claimed that all of my pipes were damaged and destroyed, and that I needed a full line replacement costing $21,000. This directly contradicts what your previous technician told me and raises serious concerns about the accuracy and honesty of your assessment. The handling of the camera inspection was equally unacceptable. The first appointment was cancelled minutes after being scheduled. The second appointment was cancelled again without explanation. On the third attempt, the technician arrived without calling ahead, resulting in him waiting 45 minutes outside my home. After the camera inspection, I requested a copy of the video of my own plumbing line. I was told I was not allowed to have it and could only receive screenshots, which are not sufficient for a second opinion. When I called to speak with a manager, I was told directly that the company does not provide customers with their own inspection videos because customers might take them to another company for the work. This is an alarming and unethical admission. To make matters worse, I reviewed the link and service information provided by your company. Nowhere does it state that customers are denied access to their own camera inspection video. I have taken screenshots and printed copies of the page showing that no such disclaimer exists. This means the refusal was not disclosed, not agreed to, and not part of any stated policy — which is deceptive and unacceptable. When I requested to speak with the owner, I was told he “does not handle these calls” and that there was no one higher to speak with. Yet the manager also confirmed he is not the owner, contradicting his claim that no higher authority exists. This entire experience — repeated cancellations, contradictory information, refusal to provide documentation, undisclosed restrictions, and a $21,000 upsell without transparency — is unacceptable and unprofessional.

    I cannot say enough good things about Harris Heating and AC. From the very beginning, the entire experience was professional, honest, and stress-free. John Phillips, my original technician, was outstanding. He took the time to thoroughly explain the issues with my old system; even took pictures of inside my unit, answered all of my questions, and made me feel confident about the next steps without any pressure. Phil, my sales representative, was equally impressive. He was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely focused on helping me choose the best heating and AC system for my home and budget. He made the entire process smooth and easy to understand. Dalton and his installation crew did an amazing job installing my new heating and AC system. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, were respectful of my home, and cleaned everything up perfectly when they finished. Their workmanship and attention to detail were top-notch. The entire team at Harris Heating and AC exceeded my expectations. It’s rare to find a company where every person you work with is professional, courteous, and truly cares about customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Harris Heating and AC to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality service.

    I had a complete heating ventilation and air conditioning system installed in place of my old system. Everything about the installation was very good. All of the workmen (3) appear to be very competent and what about their work in a very skilled fashion. This was a very involved installation since it was a distinct change in efficiency levels of furnace requiring new flus to be installed. That work was done very well, but it did take significantly longer than I had expected. The only questionable portion of the installation was when it came to installing the thermostat. I had specifically requested that my new Google Nest Generation 4 thermostat be included in the installation, to be supplied by me. When it came time to install the thermostat none of the three workmen were familiar with the piece of equipment and we're unable to install it. No home office expertise was available at 7:30 PM to assist them in that installation. After some frustration about not having heating and cooling that night I accepted their alternative of installing the original Honeywell thermostat that had been supplied by Harris for the installation. I accepted that proposal and in short order they had the entire system working very well. At least for the time being, I have abandoned my idea of using the Google Nest Gen 4 since the Honeywell is operable and adjustable via the internet. Thank you Harris for an excellent HVAC System at a very fair price. I look forward to a continuing maintenance relationship with Harris in the future.

    As a consumer for the last 50 years, you really want to know only a few things when making a large purchase. First, am I getting what I requested. That means checking the boxes to make sure that it’s on the contract. The second thing that is most important, for me, is that the company, whether it be the real estate company when you’re buying a home the car company when you’re purchasing a vehicle or as in this case, the family owned business but is installing my air-conditioning unit communicate with you in a timely manner. Do they speak with respect and kindness. Do they listen to what we are saying. And can they demonstrate, when doing an upsell, the reasons why it’s better for my family When people show up to deliver their product, are they on time? How are they dressed? Do they respect your home? Harris does all of those things. The politeness of Ivan and Michael were exemplary. Wiping your feet before they came in making sure there was no mess anywhere and cleaning up…Making it actually better than when they arrived. I don’t know what else I could say other than the owners of this company should be very proud of these two employees and the other several workers that showed up at different times. Congratulations to Harris plumbing, heating air and electric five stars all the way!
