After having Harris level the ground under my condenser which was working perfectly, the unit stopped working 48hrs later. I called 7/3 and scheduled service on 7/4. They called that day and said no one would be out. On 7/5 a tech showed up around 5pm after waiting the entire day. He said he couldn’t figure out what was wrong but it was due to the ground leveling and Harris’ fault. A tech came out the next day, 7/6, and said a had a faulty thermostatic expansion valve in my heat pump inside the house. They sent me an estimate for $2200 to fix that.
I had another company come out today instead to look at it. They told me the thermostatic expansion valve was fine and the error was made when the condenser was reconnected to the house. They got me up and running without replacing any components.
Would never recommend to anyone. Buyer beware.
(I also asked for anyone in management to call me on various occasions and never received a call)
My family recently experienced a major plumbing emergency involving a significant water leak, and our technician Malik exceeded every expectation. He spent the time to thoroughly inspect the problem, clearly explained what had failed, and walked us through every repair before starting the work.
Throughout the day, he kept us informed, showed us the work as it was being completed, and answered every question with patience and professionalism. The workmanship was excellent, and it was obvious he took pride in doing the job the right way—not just the quickest way.
What impressed my family the most was how respectful and courteous he was to my wife and our children during a very stressful situation. His professionalism, communication, and attention to detail gave us complete confidence that our home was in good hands.
I highly recommend Harris Plumbing and especially Malik. Quality workmanship and outstanding customer service are hard to find these days, and he delivered . Thanks Harris and Malik appreciate you sir.
I contacted Harris for an electrical issue where part of my home's circuit had stopped working. The electrician spent nearly 2–3 hours troubleshooting the problem, diagnosed it as a broken neutral wire between the electrical panel and the first outlet, and then provided a very high repair estimate based on that diagnosis.
The issue was later resolved by another electrician, who found that the actual problem was simply a loose neutral wire at one of the outlets. The repair took about an hour and did not require replacing any wiring.
I was also disappointed that I was not informed in advance that the diagnostic charges would increase based on the amount of time spent troubleshooting. I would have appreciated being told about any extended-hour charges before they were incurred so I could make an informed decision.
Overall, this was not a good experience.

Michael Celli was an awesome representative for Harris. If he is representative of what all Harris technicians are like, this is a gem of a company. Michael listened to my observations and insights about the system and the symptoms. I told him about the other company that came out and what they had diagnosed. He looked at the system first with a scope so as not to have to disturb anything, then we discussed options. Given my work situation (newly retired teacher with a pension but looking to get back to work in other fields) and our budget, we looked at what might be the best option, given the age of the system and the diagnostics he was able to do. In the end, he spent over 3 hours here, and we settled on a thorough cleaning of the blower motor, AC Drain Pan, blowing out the condensate line, and cleaning the condensate pump. He also ran tests to compare with the previous company's review so I had comparisons of the system's efficiency.
System looks great and the initial reason for the call, (musty smell coming from the AC vents) seems to be gone. I now have a piece of mind I did not have even after the first company's review and hard sell. (They didn't even offer to clean the blower motor or drain pan...went straight to bringing in a project manager to put together a plan for replacement. I get that. It's a business, so I'm not criticizing them, but if they had been more concerned with listening to me and what would work best at this time, perhaps they could have garnered at least a bit of my business.
As it is, Michael listened, discussed, and worked out a deal that was best for us. (Plus he watered my window flowerboxes for me!) I'll be using Harris again.
I had them install a water booster pump in my home. Prior to the installation, I was advised that purchasing the pump myself would save me money, so I purchased the equipment and hired the company to perform the installation.
After installation, the booster pump did not resolve the water pressure issue and is not functioning as expected. When I contacted the company to discuss the problem and seek a resolution, I was informed that I would be charged an additional fee to remove the pump, despite already paying for the installation service that failed to achieve the intended result.
My concerns escalated when I spoke with the manager. He dodged me for 3 weeks and rather than discussing possible solutions, the manager became confrontational, raised his voice, and blamed me for the situation. I found this interaction unprofessional and unacceptable, particularly as I was simply seeking assistance regarding a service that did not produce the expected outcome.
While I understand the company may not warranty a product that it did not supply, my complaint is not solely about the product itself. It is also about the recommendation to purchase the equipment, the unsuccessful installation, the demand for additional charges to remove equipment that did not solve the issue, and the unprofessional treatment I received when attempting to resolve the matter.
I attempted to resolve this matter directly with the company, but those efforts were unsuccessful.
