Nick was excellent. Explained all my options for a Walter filtration system. Went over every detail, listened to all my questions, was friendly, professional and very informative. I’m new to the area and was looking for a plumbing company I can trust. I found one. Nick and his apprentice did a whole house inspection for me and kept me informed every step of the way. Truly a 5 Star company and plumbing service provider. Thanks. I highly recommend Nick & MyGuy plumbing.

I suggest getting a second estimate. I was quoted $2200 for a kitchen job. I was floored. I had a second plumber give me an estimate for $900, for the exact job. I called and spoke to Anthony and was told he has a fleet of trucks to maintain (in my opinion Customers should no be responsible for the companies overhead) and the company has 5 star reviews, and was very condescending. He thought he smoothed everything out, offering me to pay to become a member for "discounts". Just beware is my final warning.

Sean from My Guy Plumbing was fantastic. He was incredibly nice, personable, and, most importantly, made me feel like I could trust him. I’m probably the least handy person you’ll ever meet, so when I was dealing with my water filter, I had absolutely no idea what I was looking at. As a lawyer, I have a huge amount of respect for people who have a specialized skill set and truly know what they’re doing. I know how much work and expertise goes into becoming good at a trade, and Sean really showed that. He went down into my crawlspace with me, walked me through exactly what was going on, explained what I should be concerned about, and took the time to answer all of my questions. What stood out most was that I always felt like he had my best interests in mind. He knew I didn’t know much about plumbing, but I never once felt like he was taking advantage of that. He explained all of my options, rather than pushing me toward one particular solution, and even pointed out other areas that I should keep an eye on while he was there. I’m new to the area, so finding a plumber I can actually trust is really important to me. When we first moved in, we used another plumber and unfortunately felt like we were completely ripped off and taken advantage of. After that experience, I really didn’t want to have to call around and get multiple quotes every time something came up. - Customer 4 life

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with our recent service. We have used this company before and were satisfied although pricey. We contacted them to install a basic pedestal sink. We provided all of the materials, very little was provided by them. (Ex sink trap) and the service tech was about to start and i inquired about the price which was over $1500. I called the manager to confirm the price and he gave $100 off and we went through with the service. After an hour and a half the tech was almost done and I noticed the sink basin was not level so I advised to adjust it. When the tech was done with the installation, asking to get paid, we were shocked to see water leaking from the valves. The tech said it wasn’t his problem and tried to leave. We immediately called the manager who initially blamed us for the leak (which wasn’t leaking before they got there). After a rough conversation with the manager after we hung up, the tech fixed it- however- leaving our bathroom wall charred and burnt. Come to find out this was also an apprentice plumber which was not what the manager told us when he said the premium price was for experience. After this was addressed and he left after payment, we noticed the sink was still not level and it was not installed aligned with the light fixture. Disappointed with this entire situation. No longer “My Guy.”

Started off pretty good. Lady in the office told me it would be 60$ to have a guy come out to check my tankless water heater. It had an error code and I didnt have any hot water. When the repair guy arrived though he informed me that it would cost 280 to even look at the unit. I dont understand what the point is to say it was 60 when they immediately upcharge you to check out the problem. I ended up saying ok to the charge only to find out that the part that was broken would have cost 1700$ to fix. Pretty crazy price considering the entire water heater is only 500$ brand new. I asked them if I bought an exact replacement for 500$, how much it would be for them to replace it....4500$! I asked how it would cost that much for just for 1 hour of labor but I was assured it would take longer than an hour. I didnt need water lines routed. I didnt need new gas lines ran. I didnt need a new place to mount it. I ended up doing it myself in under an hour. Im sure a professional would have done it faster. I was in disbelief that a company would quote someone that much money for 1 hour of labor. Im unsure of the quality of work this company can do because I never got past the astronomical price tag they have for there work . I tried to get a breakdown of why it costs 4500 but I never got an answer. Is it 3 hours of work for 1500 a hour? Repair guy said he'd email me it, but when i looked at it it said " customer supplied tankless water heater replacement---4500quot; If you dont want to be financially ruined for getting some plumbing work done, I'd say steer clear of this company. They overcharge like crazy and somehow think there prices are normal. Also they are not able to clearly tell you what your being charged for. A week later im glad I just spent an hour to replace it myself EDIT: the reply is exactly how they sounded on the phone. Cool sounding words to make it seem like theres a reason for charging 4500 for an hours worth of work. No one ever tried to contact me. I didnt need permits submitted. Its not a change in model. I didnt need any gas, water lines, or vents installed they were already in. And I have no idea what "professional grade materials" mean. I bought the heater its a direct replacement. Just remove one thing and install the same thing. And it didnt need to be brought up to code. It is a brand new heater. The "comprehensive manufacturer-assisted diagnostic" was just the guy calling tech support. And following the directions from someone on the phone. I get it. You can charge whatever you want, but it'd be nice if they told you that the 60$ initial cost doesn't cover anything. Only gets a guy to tell you in-person what he's actually going to charge you. And if they charge 4500 for an hours worth of work maybe others should know that before dealing with them
