- MLmichael longMar 3, 20261.0I wasn't going to share my experience with avalon Flooring, because it happened last year but I figured after what they did to me today.It would be a great time to let everyone know. Last year I remodeled my house and I needed carpeting for my downstairs and tile. It was a pretty good chunk of change. I stopped by avalon one day after going to the doctor I wasn't dressed real well, I kinda looked like a bum. But I just left the heart doctor and I didn't feel like getting dressed up. So I stopped by there and walked into the carpet area.. Walked around for well over five minutes.Nobody bothered to walk over to me.They sat and looked at me. Then, I went over to the tile, because I needed to do a little bit of tile work.. Again the same thing they all sat at their desks and stared at me. So I wrote down the prices of the three things that I wanted.. and I shopped around.. Let me tell you based on the prices that they had listed. I probably saved over a 1000 dollars on 6000 dollars worth of material... So before you go spending money in this fancy store, I suggest you try the local guys around the area. Because they are much friendlier, and the prices are much better. And when you're when you work with the actual owner of the company, you can get much better deals..

He was very knowledgeable about the products he carried and quickly understood the vision that we had for the main bathroom in our beach house. Even though we had decided to go with the tile, the first time that we went, he informed us that a sale would be coming up soon if we wanted to wait. When the sale started, he called us and we finalized the deal. I would definitely work with Adam again!

Yes, we can install new products from our showrooms with our certified installers. Avalon Flooring installations are always completed by insured subcontractors who understand the latest installation methods for all of our products for smooth installation in your home.

Yes, we offer free measuring services for our customers. Once a customer visits a showroom or completes a virtual consultation and makes selections, one of our professional estimators will visit the home to properly measure the space for the selected materials.

Yes, we carry synthetic felt under-padding for your area rug. Visit one of our showrooms for our full selection of area rug under-padding.
Are rug remnants for sale? Do you have a good supply of remnants and bound area rugs?
We carry remnants in our Rio Grande, NJ and Toms River, NJ showrooms. We also offer a full selection of ready-made rugs as well as an opportunity for custom rugs from a wide variety of vendors and brands.
Do you carry Tec grout?
Yes we do! Please visit your local showroom to view our selection of Tec grout.
Do you carry grout and mortar?
Yes, we carry a wide range of installation materials, including grout and mortar. We are a full stocking dealer of your most common grout and mortar brands, including TEC, Schluter, Wedi and more.
Do I need an appointment to talk to a store associate about my flooring or window project?
Appointments are not required in our showrooms and we do accept walk-ins. However, we do recommend making an appointment to speak with one of our store associates if you plan to arrive during peak visiting hours. Call your local showroom for an appointment.
Do you sell vinyl plank flooring?

Do you sell stair treads and runners?
Yes, we sell custom runners for your staircases. We also carry a selection of wood-look stair treads that coordinate well with our flooring options. We do not carry carpet stair treads at this time.
Do you carry indoor and outdoor carpeting?

Do you take credit cards?
Yes, each of our showrooms accepts all major credit cards as payment, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Please call your local showroom if you have any questions.
Do you do floor repairs?
In the case of any error made during installation of an Avalon Flooring project, we can follow up with necessary repairs. We do not offer general floor repair services.
Do you do floor refinishing?
We do not offer floor refinishing services.
Do you do carpet stretching?
We offer stretching for carpet that was originally installed by the Avalon Flooring team. Our carpet stretching services are available for a fee. Call your store associate or local showroom for details.
What is your return policy for excess products (i.e. tile, laminate planks, etc.)?

Do you provide samples to bring home for review?
Many of our products do have samples that can be brought home. Depending on the product, you may be able to take those samples home the same day, or we may have to ship them to your home. For example, for hardwood, laminate, and vinyl we offer $5 samples that can be shipped directly to your home, while carpet samples are often available in store for customers to take home.
