  Excellent experience from start to finish! The team was prompt, professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. The HVAC work was completed efficiently, and everything was handled with great care. I would highly recommend SM Heating & Air and will definitely use them again in the future.

  Derrick and Rouby were very professional, knowledgeable and efficient during their visit! They took time to explain what was going on and offered many solutions to the problem! They also were exactly on time for the appointment scheduled. 10/10 would ask for them again!

  Outstanding Service from SM Heating & Air Conditioning We couldn’t have asked for better service from SM Heating & Air Conditioning in Pompton Lakes! We woke up on a Friday morning with no air conditioning—right in the middle of a heat wave. Ruby arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem, and explained several options for both repairing and replacing our system. He took the time to help us choose the best solution for our home. After speaking with his boss, we were assured they could install a new system first thing Monday morning. But they didn’t leave us to suffer through the weekend! They provided us with three portable air-conditioning units to keep us comfortable until the new system could be installed. That was above and beyond! On Monday morning, Derek, John, Eddy, and Ruby arrived right on schedule. They were professional, courteous, and incredibly hardworking. They carefully placed tarps to protect our home and cleaned up everything when they were finished. And they worked in our attic in that intense heat without complaint! From the initial diagnosis to the installation and cleanup, every part of the experience was exceptional. We highly recommend SM Heating & Air Conditioning for all of your central air-conditioning needs. Their service, professionalism, and genuine concern for their customers are outstanding!   We called this company because they were local and had such great reviews, and we’re so glad we did! They were able to send Eddie, our HVAC technician, out within about 40 minutes, and he was absolutely wonderful. He was so friendly, warm, and professional, and he had our central air back up and running in no time — especially appreciated during this heat and just days before we were leaving for vacation! We are so thankful for the quick response and excellent service. We will definitely be calling them again and highly recommend them!
