I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received from Arctic Air Conditioning and regarding the installation of my new HVAC system. During the sales process, I was advised to replace both my furnace and air conditioning system. I relied on your company's expertise to properly evaluate my home's HVAC needs and recommend a system that would operate safely and efficiently. At no point was I informed that my existing ductwork should be evaluated, upgraded, or modified to support the new equipment. After the installation, it became apparent that the new system was not performing as expected. I have since learned that the existing ductwork is undersized and creates a significant bottleneck, causing the new equipment to struggle because it cannot move the required volume of air. This issue should have been identified through a proper inspection, airflow evaluation, or load testing before recommending and installing a new HVAC system. The consequences of this oversight have extended well beyond inconvenience. Because the new system is unable to properly condition our home, we have been forced to install and operate a window air conditioning unit in our baby's room to keep it at a safe and comfortable temperature. It is unacceptable that, after making such a substantial investment in a new HVAC system, we cannot rely on it to adequately cool our own home—especially the room of an infant. When I raised these concerns, I was told that the salesperson "made a mistake" and that "it happens." While mistakes can occur, this response is unacceptable given the significant financial investment involved. A failure to properly evaluate the existing ductwork before recommending expensive replacement equipment represents a serious oversight and falls well below the level of professional service I expected. As the customer, I relied on Arctic Air's expertise to identify any limitations within my HVAC system before selling and installing new equipment. Had I been informed that my ductwork required modification, I could have made an informed decision regarding the scope of the project. Instead, I was sold equipment that cannot operate to its full potential because a critical part of the system was overlooked. I am disappointed not only by the initial oversight but also by the company's unwillingness to accept responsibility or provide a meaningful solution. Simply stating that a mistake was made does not resolve the underlying problem or restore confidence in the quality of your workmanship and sales practices

My experience with Arctic Air has been extremely disappointing. I first raised an issue in May and, despite multiple attempts to obtain updates, I received little to no communication from the company. The most frustrating part was the lack of response when the City Inspector requested an explanation regarding why only one drain outlet was installed. This was a straightforward question that required either a phone call or a simple email response. SIMPLE EXPLANATION- ( Arctic Air Did Not Install the Air Handler- it was an original Handler since 2001 when the house was built- they only replaced the condenser ). The technician Robert Mauser is the best! He knows what’s he’s doing,. Unfortunately, neither the customer service team nor their install managers took the time to provide an explanation or follow up. Good customer service is about communication, and in this case, that was completely lacking. When clients are left waiting for months without updates or answers to important inspection-related questions, it creates unnecessary delays and frustration. I hope Arctic Air improves its customer service practices and responsiveness so future customers do not experience the same level of neglect.

Very dissatisfied with HVAC repair. In 2021 I had two new top rated Lennox Air Conditioning systems installed by Arctic. On July 2 2026 one unit stopped working. I was told that there was a massive leak in the outside unit. I was told even though I had a 10 year warranty the labor was not included after the first 3 years. I was then informed that the labor cost to replace the warrantied part along with the Freon cost would exceed the cost of a new unit and I should just replace the unit. When I questioned why I would have to pay for Freon since it leaked out from a faulty part I was told Freon is never covered as part of a warranty. I would not use this company again especially for a new installation. I was also charged $150.00 to be told my warranty was essentially worthless.

I wanted to take a moment to share some positive feedback following our recent experience with Huciel. From the moment our conversation started, Huciel impressed me with his warmth, friendliness, and depth of knowledge. He welcomed all of my questions and provided thorough explanations that really helped me understand everything clearly. Not only did he explain things well, but he also offered helpful suggestions, which I truly appreciated. I also want to express how happy we’ve been with all the technicians (can’t remember all their names) that Arctic has sent our way whenever we’ve had any issues or concerns. It’s clear that your team is composed of professionals who are passionate about their work and treat every project with the same care and attention as if they were working on their own homes. That level of dedication and respect for customers truly stands out. I hope your company continues to maintain this high standard of quality and keeps technicians who consistently go above and beyond. It’s a real pleasure to work with a company that genuinely cares for its customers and their homes. Thank you again. Mr and Mrs Ziga

My family has used Arctic Air Conditioning for more than 20 years, and our experiences were consistently excellent. Unfortunately, my recent standby generator installation was the complete opposite. The sales estimator was professional, provided a reasonable quote, and included additional warranty coverage and extras that helped earn my business. During the sales process, I specifically requested a Generac Guardian series generator rather than the newer models because I preferred the owner functionality and did not want features that require additional monitoring subscriptions. The problems began with the permitting process. Arctic submitted the permits, and the township informed me that the mechanical plans had failed review and additional information was required. When I contacted Arctic, I was told they would handle it. Several weeks later, Arctic called and stated that the permits had been approved and asked me to schedule the installation. I specifically asked for confirmation that everything had been approved and was assured that it had been taken care of. On installation day, communication and coordination were extremely poor. Multiple crews arrived, but important information I had discussed with the estimator was never communicated to them, including the generator location and my request for a white meter backer board to match the house. The plumbing and electrical teams appeared to be operating independently and often did not know what the other team was doing. During the installation, I discovered that the generator had been placed directly over a storm drain. When I asked that it be moved, I was told that it had already been bolted down and was difficult to relocate. I insisted that it be installed correctly, and the crew eventually addressed the issue. Throughout the day, a total of nine company vehicles came and went. For comparison, similar installations are often completed by a much smaller, coordinated crew. The entire process felt disorganized and inefficient. There were additional communication issues regarding the gas piping. I had plans to finish my basement and would have preferred the piping to be routed as tightly as possible along the floor, but that discussion never occurred. After installation, a gas leak was discovered and the plumbing team had to return to make repairs. At the end of the day, Arctic requested payment in full. I declined and explained that I would make final payment after all required township inspections were completed. When I contacted the township to schedule those inspections, I was shocked to learn that the permits had not actually been approved and that the work should not have been performed. I am still waiting to learn whether I will face any additional costs or penalties as a result. The installation itself may ultimately be corrected, but the permitting issues, lack of communication, poor coordination between crews, and apparent misinformation regarding permit approval made this one of the most frustrating contractor experiences I have ever had. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Arctic Air Conditioning.
