He provided us with a detailed description of the endless possibilities of the Avalon tile inventory. Mr. Reyes offered us a service which most home decor designers would typically pay a premium for. We are so happy with the final results. Therefore, our new 2026 Spring project is to replace all our carpet flooring with hardwood and we knew to once again reach out to Mr. Reyes for his counsel. He was so personable and recalled some of the personal memories we had shared with him months ago. During our appointment he proceeded with his recommendations and extensive detailing of what had to be considered for the various spaces each ( bedrooms, foyers, stairs etc..) would require as to the traffic areas, lighting and their longevity with specific care. Once again, our decision was facilitated by Mr. Reyes. The wood is currently acclimating in our home for a few weeks before its installation. A crucial phase as he recommended for prior installation that is definitely not extended when purchasing from a 1. 800- distributor. Once the floors are completed we will be back for the materials needed for our Fall 2026 new project. This will be for a full kitchen, inclusive of tiling and cabinetry. I can honestly attribute Mr. Hugo Reyes as to the reason I’m especially excited to get it started. He offers attention to the details that are never small to consider and I must say I genuinely like his stying recommendations.

We carry remnants in our Rio Grande, NJ and Toms River, NJ showrooms. We also offer a full selection of ready-made rugs as well as an opportunity for custom rugs from a wide variety of vendors and brands.
Do you carry Tec grout?
Yes we do! Please visit your local showroom to view our selection of Tec grout.
Do you carry grout and mortar?
Yes, we carry a wide range of installation materials, including grout and mortar. We are a full stocking dealer of your most common grout and mortar brands, including TEC, Schluter, Wedi and more.
Do I need an appointment to talk to a store associate about my flooring or window project?
Appointments are not required in our showrooms and we do accept walk-ins. However, we do recommend making an appointment to speak with one of our store associates if you plan to arrive during peak visiting hours. Call your local showroom for an appointment.
Do you sell vinyl plank flooring?

Yes, we sell custom runners for your staircases. We also carry a selection of wood-look stair treads that coordinate well with our flooring options. We do not carry carpet stair treads at this time.

In the case of any error made during installation of an Avalon Flooring project, we can follow up with necessary repairs. We do not offer general floor repair services.

We offer stretching for carpet that was originally installed by the Avalon Flooring team. Our carpet stretching services are available for a fee. Call your store associate or local showroom for details.

Do you provide samples to bring home for review?
Many of our products do have samples that can be brought home. Depending on the product, you may be able to take those samples home the same day, or we may have to ship them to your home. For example, for hardwood, laminate, and vinyl we offer $5 samples that can be shipped directly to your home, while carpet samples are often available in store for customers to take home.
