  I’ve been a loyal customer of theirs since they took over the marina, and I must say, I’m always impressed by their helpfulness and friendliness. Whether it’s a repair, a sale, or helping you get your boat in and out of the ramp, they go above and beyond to ensure you have a fantastic day on the lake. I wouldn’t dream of keeping my boat anywhere else. I’m incredibly happy with their professionalism and courtesy.

  Have done business with the owners of this marina for many years. I am glad to see he revived a near dead marina (I moved my boat out of the old marina many years ago). Most recently, my boat needed major repairs and they were all over it! They even brought my boat to my current marina and placed it in my slip. Talk about complete service!!! There were then some minor issues related to the repair, and to avoid any customer inconvenience, they drove to the opposite side of the lake and checked on the boat in my slip!!

  We took our boat to be stored here for the winter. West Shore Marine asked us if they could put the boat in the water early because it was in their way. We agreed. A week and a half later we got a call saying that our boat was taking in water. My husband spoke to the owner who was extremely rude, saying they are professionals and could not possibly do anything wrong. The owner then said "what do you want to do about it" as if the burdon was now on us. He never called back the next day and the following day we got a call from office personell saying come get your boat out of the water or we will start charging slip fees (knowing we dont have a boat trailer). My husband had to take off of work so we could come get the boat and found that the battery wasn't charged properly so that the bilge pump would not work and that the covers weren't put on the boat, so that rainwater would have gotten in the boat when it rained last week. Thank goodness for Barnes Brothers Marine who allowed us to bring the boat to them, took the boat out of the water and did a thorough check, right there on the spot. They found absolutely nothing wrong with the boat but agreed that without a bilge pump working because the battery wasn't charged and with no covers on the boat that is why the boat could have been taking on water. We really appreciate their help because West Shore Marine was impossible to work with we will never use them again.
