  I had an excellent experience at Lumber Liquidators in Hillsborough, NJ. We recently bought our first home and needed waterproof vinyl flooring to replace the carpet in our living room. Initially, we ordered flooring from Costco, but it turned out to be the wrong material—and when we tried to find the color we wanted, they didn’t have it. While Costco’s prices are reasonable, their selection is limited. That’s when we found Lumber Liquidators. My husband and I worked with Gene, and he was outstanding. The flooring we wanted was out of stock locally, but Gene went above and beyond—he located it at their PA store and even offered to pick it up for us. This was a huge help since we had deliveries scheduled and an electrician working at the house. Despite an unexpected snowstorm, Gene drove to Pennsylvania and brought back our flooring. His dedication and customer service exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend Lumber Liquidators and Gene for anyone looking for great products and exceptional service! PS. My brother-in-law and husband installed our flooring.

  Peter is very professional, friendly, patient with my floor project. There was some issues appeared but he was able to work it through and get my project done

  Pete Berens was amazingly helpful in guiding us to our decision. He was knowledge and took time to educate us, answering ALL of my wife's questions. Lumber Liquidators is lucky to have him represent their brand!

  We bought our laminate flooring from here and we’re happy. Peter is a good dude. I took one star off as they attempted to nickel and dime me for a 25% restocking fee. It was on one add’l box I needed but then my contractor indicated he didn’t need. Peter called me back after I spoke to Corporate and they waived the restocking fee after all. I would recommend this place and Peter. Just make sure if you have a weird situation to discuss it first.

  I ordered flooring and an install from this store in May of this year and it's been creaking all over the place ever since, even though there were no prior issues. I've spent three months talking to and emailing at least a dozen different "Customer Care" representatives at the national level and with the store and no one has even been out to inspect the issue. They do not return calls or want anything to do with you after they get their money. Would never order from them again.
