  if you're looking for basement work, I'd recommend giving these guys a call. They're family-owned, super knowledgeable, and didn't do the typical pushy sales routine. They spent plenty of time with us even though we decided to hold off for now. Local company (freehold) with three generations of experience. We had some water in the ash pit of our fire place/in our basement. Sal came back out and because we were hesitant to get a sump pump (my husband has awful memories of broken sump pumps from his childhood home) and had additional questions after the initial visit/estimate. we were planning to seal the outside of the chimney but we had them back out today and they spent over an hour explaining our options and how sump pumps have changed over the years. (Options- sealing, French drain, sump pump, chimney drain) and explaining why things would or would not work. They didn't push anything, we weren't rushed, my questions were answered. Luckily our issues aren't urgent but the quotes they gave were reasonable and their explanations were thorough. (Huge difference from the company that had my husband trapped at the dining room table giving him a whole song and dance sales pitch with fancy brochures)

  I had an excellent experience with Basement Waterproofing Solutions, thanks to Sal Jr. He did a fantastic job resolving my water pump issue and helping prevent water from getting into my garage. Sal Jr. was friendly, punctual, well-prepared, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what was going on and made sure everything was working properly before he left. I especially appreciated that he went above and beyond by cleaning out the drains and getting the entire system back to optimal operating efficiency. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about his customers.
