  Very disappointed with my experience with Groundworks. I hired them to lift and level the concrete slabs around my pool. They told me they were the best in the business and convinced me to go with them over another company. During the job, their crew cracked two of my slabs and stopped the work. This happened on July 20, and despite multiple attempts to contact the company and get the damage addressed, I have had little to no communication or resolution. The only communication i have ever received was if i personally reached out. And was always pushed to the side or made to feel like it was of little importance to them. Mistakes happen, but how a company handles them is what matters. I expected better customer service and accountability from a company like Groundworks especially from an issue that they caused. I'm hoping someone from management sees this review, reaches out, and takes responsibility for making the necessary repairs. It has been almost 3 months now and still have yet to have someone reach out with a true gameplan on how this will be taken care of. Within the past 2-3 weeks, i have reached out twice by phone, spoken to someone on the phone at the call center who assured me i would hear back. No surprise, i have not had the courtesy of a phone call back. Clients should not be treated this way or left to feel that the company who caused the issue does not care about them or care to make good on the issue at hand that was caused by them.

  Hello all, I am writing this review extremely late, (work done in July 2026) nonetheless, I said I would do here I am. I had major water issues in my basement home a year after purchasing. After several contractor estimates and some work being done, the problem still existed until I called Groundwork’s. After in dept consultation, I decided to hire for the leaky basement. I must say, I was pleased with the job. A Mr. William Sanchez, along with Rigoberto and Jose Victor arrived at my home at the scheduled time and completed the job by the end of the day. Mr. W. Sanchez explained all that they were doing during the work and even took time to explain the flushing process to clean the system. They were very organized and cleaned the entire work area, including out front of my home as well. It was obvious that they were well trained and experienced, but that they very prideful of the work they do. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. I intend to do more work in the future will be for sure the company I call on. Thank you guys!!

  Groundworks and especially their tech Adrian are truly INCREDIBLE! We were having issues with our second sump pump and Adrian went above and beyond the call of duty to get down to the root of our issue beyond just replacing the sump pump. His sincere, genuine, and easy going manner instantly put me at ease. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure the customer was not just taken care of but that whatever the underlying issue was, he was not going to stop until it was solved and figured out properly. He stayed WELL beyond when he was supposed to simply to make sure that our issues with our system were not not just addressed but solved. He didn't just check a box and sell us another sump pump. Adrian diagnosed our system, figured out what was wrong with it, where the issue was coming from through trial and error and tenacity. I really appreciated him for that. He definitely put our minds at ease knowing that water will no longer be an issue in our basement for the long term. I have used Groundworks numerous times and they are all incredible from the customer service, to the salespeople, to the installers and techs like Adrian. In a world where customer service is not so common, I give Groundworks five stars across the board. TY Adrian and Groundworks!

  Philip was the project manager assigned to our issue. Philip came to see our basement on a Sunday, which I was super appreciative of. Spent about 2h inspecting everything around the basement perimeter, inside and outside. Explained everything in a ton of detail, so a novice home owner like me can understand. Broke down the various fixes that would be necessary and also things that can be done later. He is definitely a subject matter expert, when it comes to basements and it's issues. Earned my respect and I highly recommend Phil and their firm: Groundworks.

  I strongly recommend not using Groundworks. This is an update of our previous review from a work done a year ago. When we signed up for this work we thought that the price they quoted us was very expensive for the amount of work that needed to be done , however the 5 year warranty they offered us let us to believe it was an ok price. We need warranty work done after one year, we've been calling, texting and could not get Groundworks to come and honor the warranty. There was a date giving via text but not phone neither email confirmation, that date has passed already. The people we spoke over the phone customer service Lyn, Cici, Sale person Denmis Tarnowski, Marty, and Jeanne from South Plainfield office, nobody could gave us a definitive answer for date and time for the warranty work. Salvador the inspector was here 4 weeks ago and told us Production Team will call in 2 weeks to do the repair and nothing happened nobody called. I strongly recommend not using Groundworks for the price they charge and not honoring the warranty they offer at the moment of signing the contract. We are very dissatisfied with this company and we are trying to help other homeowners not to go thru this situation with Groundworks. We will be posting this review in all social media to prevent others from going thru this.
