  I hired Quality 1st Basement Systems to solve a water intrusion and hydrostatic pressure problem in the basement of my family's nearly 100-year-old home. After initially trying cosmetic repairs, it became clear I needed a permanent solution.From the beginning, Frank Pellegrini was knowledgeable, patient, and responsive. His original assessment proved to be accurate, and he took the time to explain the issues, answer countless questions, and design a waterproofing system that fit both my home and long-term goals. The project included a full waterproofing system, sump pump installation, new concrete floor, and an egress window integrated into the drainage system.Throughout the project, Juan and the installation crew kept me informed every step of the way. What impressed me most was the team's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. During the final walkthrough, I requested a minor adjustment, and it was addressed immediately without debate or delay.More than six weeks later, the basement is completely dry and the water problem is gone. The communication and coordination throughout the project were outstanding. I never felt left in the dark and always knew who to contact when questions came up.While Frank was my primary contact, this was truly a team effort. I'd also like to thank Juan, Kayti, Jay, and everyone else involved for their professionalism, responsiveness, and dedication to making the project a success.Investing in foundation repair and waterproofing is a major decision, but I'm confident it was the right one.   I had an excellent experience with Quality First from start to finish. Wilber, Jose, and Michael came out to replace my sump pump, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service they provided. All of them were extremely professional, respectful, and courteous while working in my home. They took the time to explain everything to me from start to finish, including what they were doing, how the new sump pump works, and why each part of the installation was important. I really appreciated that they didn’t just come in, do the work, and leave — they made sure I understood everything. Most importantly, they treated my home with the utmost respect and cleaned up after themselves when the job was completed. You honestly couldn’t tell they had been working there. A big thank you to Wilber, Jose, and Michael for doing such a great job. Quality First is lucky to have a team like this. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for professional, knowledgeable, and respectful service!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience with Quality 1st Basement Systems for my basement waterproofing and drain work. The entire team did an amazing job from start to finish. They were professional, efficient, and clearly took pride in their work. Mike Fiorillo was especially wonderful throughout the process. He kept me calm, answered my questions, and communicated with me every step of the way, which made what could have been a stressful experience so much easier. The work was done very well, and the cleanup was excellent. Everything was left neat and clean when they finished. I truly appreciate the hard work and professionalism of the entire team and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing basement waterproofing or drainage work!

  I can’t say enough good things about Greg Louis and Quality 1st Basements. From the moment Greg came out, he was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, humorous, and genuinely invested in helping us understand what was going on with our home. What really stood out was how educational the entire experience was. Greg took the time to walk us through the issues he identified, explain why they were happening, and clearly lay out the different solutions available to us. He never made me feel rushed or pressured. Instead, I left the conversation feeling much more informed and confident about how to address the problems. Greg also brought an exceptional energy and attitude. He was personable, thorough, honest, and clearly takes pride in helping homeowners find the right solution. That combination of expertise and genuine care is hard to find.   I called Quality 1st after discovering a crack in the slab of my home when a section of the floor was removed. What I really appreciated about Quality 1st was the honesty and professionalism I was shown. My system design specialist, Ron Michaels, was communicative ahead of our appointment and showed up right on time. I felt like he really prioritized trying to find the cause of the problem and if a problem even existed instead of just trying to sell me a service or solution where I didn't need it, which had been my experience with another company. It turns out that the crack was not caused by the house settling or anything, but was where a piece of wood had been from the form when they poured the concrete. Even though no work needed to be done, I would recommend Ron and Quality 1st wholeheartedly based on that honesty alone and the discussions that we had. Ron took a lot of time and was very thorough in explaining everything to me. They are not going to try to upsell you services you don't need or quick fixes that won't hold up.
