  Great products, but be ready to fight if anything goes wrong. I've spent about $20,000 with this company on basement encapsulation, drainage, crawl space supports, dehumidification, gutter extensions, and gutter guards. The production and installation side is genuinely 5-star. If I could rate that alone, I would. Here's the "beware": if an installed item fails, or one of their techs damages something on your property, you'll fight to get it made right. They assume you're wrong until you prove otherwise, and they don't own their mistakes. Two examples: A tech serviced my sump pumps and left one plugged into a dead outlet. The alarm went off at 8PM—with a 3-month-old in the house. To get someone out, I had to agree to an exorbitant emergency fee before they'd diagnose it, even though the service call was 48 hours earlier and the cause was obvious. They found it was their fault and waived the fee. But the default posture is that it's your problem until proven otherwise. The gutter guards didn't actually guard the gutters—I still clean them 1-2x a year. To their credit, they honored the warranty and agreed to clean them for 20 years. But on one of those visits, a tech broke a landscaping light. My lights are discontinued, so matching them meant replacing all of them. They offered an arbitrary $150 against $550+ in lights, and after nearly an hour arguing with the production manager, we settled at $250. I paid ~$300 out of pocket. The issue was never the lights or the fee. It's that this company is big, unwieldy, and more focused on margins than customers. I now dread having them on my property, because if something breaks, I'm likely out of pocket and stuck with whatever repair they deem reasonable. My advice: hire them, because the work is excellent. Just be prepared to cough up your own cash and brace for a customer service battle if anything goes wrong. If they ever make me whole on the lights, I'll update this review.

  Great choice to work w this company. Easy to deal with, fair price and clean work from really pleasant guys. Excellent follow up. Our pool concrete settled a little more almost a year after the work and when I called they came right back out, no questions asked and did additional work to level the concrete. Very happy with the work, very satisfied with the service. JD was a pleasure to meet, very comfortable having him work at out home.

  Today this team completed water proofing our basement, installing a high quality sump pump and, an industrial dehumidifier. Noe, Jose and Gabriel were excellent. very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and answered all of our questions. encouraged us to look at the work as it was being completed and to ask questions. they were very meticulous about the work and about cleaning after themselves. I researched many companies and we decided to go with Quality 1st. also, the fact that they guarantee their work for life was very important to us. our neighbor next door had worked done in his home this past January and highly recommended this company. we hope to have a dry basement for many, many years to come. thank you team!

  Q1st did my crawl space encapsulation and insulation 2 years ago. My crawlspace was all dirt with spiders & ants and smelled a horrible musty moldy smell. They did the job of magicians. Now the space is clean and the air is healthy and smells good. They also installed a dehumidifier & sump pump. I am extremely happy with the work! You can see the picture taken today which is 2 years after they did the work, the space looks brand new & smells great. Today I had the sump pump and dehumidifier serviced. I received professional diligent work. I am very happy with this company and highly recommend their products and services.

  I had a small water issue in my basement around the furnace area and called Quality 1st Basement System to take a look. Instead of trying to sell me unnecessary work, the technician Greg carefully inspected the problem and explained that it was actually caused by condensation from the furnace, not groundwater. Previously, another company suggested installing a sump pump, which would have been completely unnecessary. I really appreciate how honest and professional the technician was. He clearly explained the situation and advised me to contact the appropriate service to fix the actual issue. It’s rare to find a company that prioritizes honesty over profit.
