  I've debated posting this because I hate writing negative reviews for local businesses but after all this time my experience still doesn't sit right with me. We had cardwell install a new HVAC in my house in 2020 and we've had the capacitor die on us 3x since then. The most recent time was during a warm stretch and they charged us $120 for service fee, $510 for a capacitor and $200 for wiring the capacitor. I posted the bill to HVAC group on reddit and I was flooded with HVAC technicians telling me those are the absolute worst prices they've ever seen. We're talking $500+ over what a typical company charges. After questioning them they took half off the bill which was still over industry standard. Honestly after being caught scamming me they should have given me the capacitor for free. Apparently the brand capacitor they were replacing mine with that kept breaking was some off brand piece of junk. I imagine if they're doing this to me who had them install a whole HVAC they must be doing it to others so please ensure you check your bills before paying them. I hope they seriously reconsider their tactics and have stopped this practice.

  I had an emergency today and was frantic about the leak in my basement's ceiling. Cardwell Plumbing was able to provide same-day service and put me at ease. Max was outstanding from start to finish. He had a great attitude, was easy to work with, and took the time to explain the repair process and answer all my questions. He went above and beyond by sharing helpful home maintenance and winterizing tips to help prevent future plumbing issues. Max genuinely cares about his customers and takes pride in doing the job right. I highly recommend Max and Cardwell!

  We had Max come over and address some issues with our sink and our dishwasher. He did a phenomenal job, and fixed an issue we didn't even expect to be initially addressed. I also found him to be a very pleasant person, and am happy we decided to go with him.

  First thing I look for when anyone comes out to service my home, is how they treat my home. He made sure to were his boot covers without asking. Made sure he left things the way they were when he came in. The lights that were off, he made sure that they were off when he left. The thermostat was left on the way it was when he came in originally. Great experience overall!

  Friday when I came home from work my house was at 85 degrees thinking that it was just the line frozen from the extreme heat. Powered system off for a bit and then turned it back on and turns on but still no cold air. Decided to go by a window unit to make it through the weekend as the box unit didn’t fit 2 windows and now it almost 7pm I start calling for emergency services to 3 companies that could not get to me until 2pm on Saturday. Now I’m panicking as I return the box unit to Lowe’s and head back home I see a HVAC truck and a gentleman walking into a property 3 streets away so I stopped at the Cardwell truck and called at 7:01pm by 7:11pm Nick had arrived at my home. He was very helpful and informative as he begins to tell me that I need to replace my whole AC unit and the stress kicked right back in but Nick told me not to worry and he would have a consultation set up for me on Saturday by 2pm with John. John too was so informative and took all my worries away with the assistance of how I was going to be able to pay for and replace my AC. Now here we are today Monday and by the time I got home the 3 technicians Alban and 2 other gentleman had the job completed. Everyone from Jessica and Chelsea at this business was so helpful, personable, and understanding to my situation. I have already started spreading the word of this business as I they really were a God sent! Highly recommended as you will not be disappointed and I would like to Thank everyone that work there.
