- MGMichelle GilettoApr 28, 20265.0I am on my 2nd bathroom renovation. My first was with a contractor and we worked with Amy Oeste from Avalon Flooring in Cherry Hill, N.J. Amy helped me bring my ideas with floor and tub surround tile to fruition in getting the look I wanted at a reasonable cost. I had an awesome experience and decided to work with her again for my do it yourself powder room renovation. Again, she was instrumental in helping me coordinate getting tile supplies/colors and scheduling installation. Amy is great with communicating, has a lot of experience with tile and is great to work with. I would also like to mention Ryan Keister who helped me with installation scheduling. He was knowledgeable, addressed my concerns and answered all my questions regarding the tile install. I would highly recommend Avalon Flooring and look forward to working with them on my next project.
- HJH and JApr 24, 20262.0Our experience working with Pam at Avalon in Cherry Hill has been terrible. From the moment the tile was installed we told her it did not look right - the tiles were far offset (some 1/8th to 1/4" slants) and multiple holes were appearing in the grout itself. She kept insisting it was fine and a natural stone and NEVER escalated anything we asked her to. Eventually I called the store and spoke to the manager, Jonny, who was apologetic and helpful. He told us there is an entire claims process that could have been started and he is now handling. The tiles were installed in January and we have found at least 7 holes in the grout in the sheet tile shipped from the store, areas our installer filled in.

Yes, we carry synthetic felt under-padding for your area rug. Visit one of our showrooms for our full selection of area rug under-padding.
Are rug remnants for sale? Do you have a good supply of remnants and bound area rugs?
We carry remnants in our Rio Grande, NJ and Toms River, NJ showrooms. We also offer a full selection of ready-made rugs as well as an opportunity for custom rugs from a wide variety of vendors and brands.
Do you carry Tec grout?
Yes we do! Please visit your local showroom to view our selection of Tec grout.
Do you carry grout and mortar?
Yes, we carry a wide range of installation materials, including grout and mortar. We are a full stocking dealer of your most common grout and mortar brands, including TEC, Schluter, Wedi and more.
Do I need an appointment to talk to a store associate about my flooring or window project?
Appointments are not required in our showrooms and we do accept walk-ins. However, we do recommend making an appointment to speak with one of our store associates if you plan to arrive during peak visiting hours. Call your local showroom for an appointment.
Do you sell vinyl plank flooring?

Do you sell stair treads and runners?
Yes, we sell custom runners for your staircases. We also carry a selection of wood-look stair treads that coordinate well with our flooring options. We do not carry carpet stair treads at this time.

We offer stretching for carpet that was originally installed by the Avalon Flooring team. Our carpet stretching services are available for a fee. Call your store associate or local showroom for details.

Do you provide samples to bring home for review?
Many of our products do have samples that can be brought home. Depending on the product, you may be able to take those samples home the same day, or we may have to ship them to your home. For example, for hardwood, laminate, and vinyl we offer $5 samples that can be shipped directly to your home, while carpet samples are often available in store for customers to take home.
