  I had used Grok before and had a good experience, so I trusted them as a returning customer. For this visit, the technician came out to repair a tub leak. He was there for about three hours, and when the work was done, I was told the invoice system on his phone was not working but the total came to $922.31 (incl. sales tax). I paid it at the time, but I was not given an invoice. The next day, I had to call and ask for the invoice. The first invoice I received was very vague and only showed the total amount. I then asked for a more detailed breakdown, and that version showed a $225 plumbing diagnostic fee, $475 shower cartridge replacement, $145 tub spout replacement, $145 flapper, and a $125 discount. My main issue is that the $225 diagnostic fee was never disclosed to me before the visit or before I approved the work. I was also under the impression that no separate diagnostic or service fee would apply if I moved forward with the repair. I asked reasonable questions about the parts used, labor, hourly rate, and how the charges were calculated, but I never received a clear explanation. I was also told the owner would call me to discuss the bill, but that call never happened. The most frustrating part was that when I questioned the detailed invoice, a Grok representative suggested that I had created it myself using ChatGPT, even though it was sent to me by their own representative after I requested a breakdown. That was really unprofessional. Again, the repair was completed, but the lack of upfront pricing, the vague invoice, the undisclosed diagnostic fee, and the poor follow-up made this a very frustrating experience. I’d recommend getting a written estimate and a detailed breakdown before approving any work.

  My experience with Grok Services was top-tier. Kristin made the process of scheduling, reviewing the estimate, and understanding the warranty options seamless and friendly. I had received two other quotes that were significantly more expensive and lacked the thoroughness of the Grok Services team— Keith J. immediately identified several items that needed to be addressed to bring my setup up to code and resolve some ongoing issues. When it came time for the installation, Keith J. and Kevin K. were punctual, efficient, and professional. They finished the job in just a few hours and left my space spotless. They even went above and beyond by diagnosing and fixing an issue with my outdoor hose bib before leaving!   I had a great experience with Grok Services Plumbing Company. They were extremely professional and polite throughout the entire process. Even better, they came out after hours when I needed help and were very timely in responding. They quickly detected the issue causing the leak and had it fixed in a short amount of time.
