They did a great job repairing and revamping my front wraparound porch. Communication was great before and during the project and it was completed within the timeframe that they initially laid out. Thank you again.

Ramon is awesome! Njconstruction is very professional, yet extremely personable. Really good job, and handles 'bumps' in the road w/o hassle. Works really well with people on a budget, as well as offering financing. You get real people to talk with - no AI! Which to me was extremely important. If you need any kind of home repair - call them 1st. Pricing is really fair, and probably better than most.

Frequently Asked Questions About New Jersey Construction

When Do I Need a New Roof?

There are several signs that indicate it may be time to replace your roof. Look out for these common signs: 1. Age of the Roof: Most roofs last between 20 to 25 years. If your roof is approaching this age, it might be time for a replacement. 2. Visible Damage: Look for cracked, curled, or missing shingles. If you notice significant wear and tear, a new roof might be necessary. 3. Leaks and Water Damage: If you find water stains on your ceiling or walls, it may be due to leaks in your roof, signaling the need for a replacement. 4. Granules in Gutters: Asphalt shingles shed granules over time. If you find an accumulation of granules in your gutters, it’s a sign your roof is deteriorating. 5. Sagging Roof: A sagging roof is a serious issue, often indicating structural problems that require a new roof. 6. Energy Efficiency Issues: If your home feels drafty or you’re experiencing higher energy bills, it could be due to roof inefficiency.

How Much is the Average Cost of a New Roof?

The cost of a new roof can vary greatly depending on several factors, such as roof size, materials, and labor. On average, homeowners in the U.S. can expect to pay anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000 for a new roof. However, this can be higher or lower depending on the following: • Material Choice: Asphalt shingles are typically the most affordable, while materials like metal, tile, or slate can cost significantly more. • Roof Size: The larger the roof, the higher the cost due to the amount of material and labor required. • Roof Pitch and Complexity: A steep or complex roof design may require more time and effort to install, increasing the price. • Geographic Location: Roofing prices can vary depending on where you live due to labor costs and material availability. For a more accurate estimate, it’s best to schedule a consultation with a licensed roofing contractor to assess your home’s needs.
