  Used Mister Sparky Electric for an emergency upgrade to my Mom's smoke detectors. House was pending a sale and we needed to close out a permit for the sale. Mister Sparky came the same day I called, gave me an estimate and returned the next day to make to upgrade. It was more than we expected to pay, but needed it done ASAP.

  Overpriced and inconsistent service. ​My power went down following a surge that affected my standby generator panel. On the phone, I was told the service call fee would be around $120–$130. However, when the technician arrived, I was told it would be $410 just to diagnose the issue, regardless of whether I proceeded with repairs, far higher than what was quoted over the phone. ​I paid a total of $1,496 (including the diagnostic fee) for a partial repair to restore main power, which left my generator non-functional. The tech quoted roughly $900 for a whole house surge protector and said the company would follow up with an estimate for the remaining generator repairs. Two days later, they called with an estimate of $2,500 for the generator work (not including the surge protector). The representative offered to refund the initial diagnostic fee if I accepted the job. I declined. ​I hired a second company for a second opinion. The second technician found that several cables needed for the system to operate had been left disconnected by the first company. The second company reconnected the cables, thoroughly inspected the entire system, and installed a whole house surge protector, all for $550 total. ​I strongly advise getting a second opinion and getting all service call pricing in writing before scheduling.

  Within 2 hours of my call requesting diagnosis of my issue, Kyle was at my home. He did some investigating and then gave me clear options on how to proceed, with a price for each option so I could make a fully-informed decision. Less than 2 hours later, the job was done AND he help me remove the cover to a fixture that I couldn’t reach (totally separate from the problem I called for help with). Very impressed and highly recommend!

  I am so pleased with the service that I received that I’m submitting this review, which I rarely ever do. I had an attic fan that either needed to be serviced or replaced. It took me nearly a week to find an electrician willing to come. I found and called Mr Sparky and Nick Maggio was out the next day. He diagnosed and recommended a replacement fan. It was a larger job and needed to be scheduled. He secured me an installation for the next day. Nick was very professional and courteous and made sure i understood all of my options. Today Ryan Capraun came to do the install. He was just as professional, explained everything he was doing and why, and preserved the integrity of the ceiling in the attic space below the fan. He & his assistant left the space in immaculate condition. I am happy to write this review and glad that I now have a reliable electrician to call when needed.

  Ok Last week we had an emergency at the house with a faulty Panel. James Came here around 530 pm . He took one looks at that panel and he knew this wasn’t going to be an easy one lol That man work till almost 12am getting our house back on line. I can’t say enough about his professionalism and his dedication to his job. That man worked non stop to fix the mess that WS handed under him. Before and after pictures shows what an awesome job he did. You guys have a customer for life. Let’s go a week later Poor James had to come back because a circuit pop and wouldn’t rest. As soon as he heard it he knew what the problem was a fixed it for us again. Thank you James and thank you Mr Sparky Now on to Ryan he had to come back the next day to finish some loose ends. And his assist was just as good. Very professional did an awesome job in marking the panel box. And working very fast . He had to come back a 3rd time to finish the grounding process and again quick easy. You have a great team of electricians and thank you for saving our house. I’m a firefighter as well and have to say that was a close call. Thank you!!!
