TLDR: I worked with Al, Great work & extremely satisfied, responsive, flexible, kind, lower price than others with great quality & craftsmanship. Two tiny gripes: 1. roofing team left personal trash on my driveway (I didn’t care, they did great/it’s understandable) and 2. They forgot to put gutters on a minor and originally gutter-less part of my roof that’s over my garage. I notified Al before I sent payment and he fixed it in two days. Long Review: I called 3 or 4 roofing companies for a quote, Al gave the lowest quote while giving me everything I wanted. One thing that stood out, of all the companies I called he/they were the only ones who went out of their way to drop off a big informational folder at my front door while I was at work. That folder was awesome because it proved example shingles & colors, and explained the entire roofing process. I negotiated with Al and he was able to give me a great price with my requirements. He wasn’t pushy and he was accommodating. He also came out and visually inspected my house to get a good picture of what was needed. I also requested a few changes as time got closer and he was great at accommodating me. I even had a request to fix a newly discovered issue the day the work began and his foreman/team was able to accommodate me, which understandably increased the final quote only by a marginal amount. I financed with GreenSky as offered by the company. They offer interest DEFERRED for the into period, but if the full amount is paid before the introductory period is over, there is ZERO interest. But I must express the strictness of GreenSky, if you are even one day late at paying the full amount you will get the entire interest amount! But for us, we set aside the full amount and play on paying off early for ZERO interest. Replacing a roof is very messy, that’s fine. You will need to clean up debris after they are finished. Even though they spend time cleaning up replacing a roof is messy. Also any plants around the edge will get damaged due to falling debris. This is unavoidable. Al was actually very kind to my wife, her garden is her passion and she notified him that her plants got damaged (not killed). Al gave her a sincere apology. (In the contract/quote there is a statement saying plants will get damaged so this is fine). Al went above and beyond to comfort my wife, so thanks Al. Lastly, after a few big rainstorms I checked my attic for water damage. No issues found.

Shout out to Mike, the roofing crew led by Rick and the gutter crew! Fantastic work!! I had a very old roof on the house and shed, along with gutters, that needed replacement. They were professional, patient, knowledgeable and probably most important to me understanding. Rescheduling due to the recent nor'easter was quickly handled. They worked hard, cleaned every bit up and were respectful. Couldn't ask for any more. I would hire MGS again.

Mike from MGS Construction made this roof replacement very smooth and hassle free. He provided me with an estimate that I considered very reasonable. There was a great selection of colors to choose from. The entire process was straightforward and stress-free. The crew arrived on schedule and immediately began working. The foremen Richie, informed me of what was going to be done and if any additional material would be needed he would let me know. They completed my roof replacement the same day. They did a thorough job cleaning up, not a single stray nail was left behind. No surprises, just excellent workmanship and a straightforward operation. I’m extremely satisfied as to how they conduct business, and I would highly recommend MGS Construction to anyone in need of a new roof.

We recently had our roof replaced by MGS Construction, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about our experience! From the very beginning, Al was absolutely incredible to work with. He was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and took the time to explain everything to us without ever making us feel pressured. He answered every question we had and made the entire process so easy. And the price was amazing! We looked around and felt that MGS offered an excellent value for the quality of work and service we received. The crew was fantastic as well. They worked efficiently, did an amazing job, and were respectful of our property. The cleanup was excellent, and when they were finished, you would hardly know they had just replaced an entire roof. Our new roof looks beautiful, and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience from start to finish. A huge thank you to Al and everyone at MGS Construction for making what could have been a stressful project such a positive experience. I would highly recommend MGS Construction, and especially Al, to anyone looking to have their roof replaced. We are extremely happy that we chose them!

Recently just had MGS put on a new roofing system on my house and shed. Went with Charcoal GAF Timberline UHDZ and new gutters and gutter guards on the roof. Al Guevara came out to take a look at the scope of work to be done, and fairly quickly within the day sent me a quote. I did get quotes from other places and MGS was very competitive within the wide range of quotes. What really sold me on them was the many, many, positive feedback reviews that were given about them that I found on multiple online websites. The day of the roof install the crew showed up at the agreed upon time. Ricky was the crew leader and explained everything the crew was doing and answered my countless questions, sorry Ricky LOL. The crew was actually quite amazing to watch and were very friendly, hard workers with high attention to detail. The roof looks excellent and I am very happy to say with the recent rain, no leaks. The clean up was a concern as we have a dog and did not want nails in the paws. I was quite amazed by the fact that we did about three walks ourselves after they left and did not find one nail or screw from the roofers. This crew used their magnet tools and did several, several passes and everyone on the crew was looking around as they walked and scanned. I would highly recommend MGS for a roof and the great job they did. The gutter experience was not as great as the roof experience, but it ended up all working out and coming out very good, communication with Al and his quick responses were key.
