  replace springs and pulleys on one of my garage doors started out as just springs then showed me that i needed new pulleys as well joey was the installer very nice man asked him to come back in the fall to do my other two doors they r all the same age when one spring goes the others r sure to follow highly recommend.this company very professional and shows you wants wrong for a very fair price ask for joey you wont b sorry

  Made a phone call and had someone here next day. Robby did an excellent job fixing our door that was out of balance and had improper springs installed by someone else. Robby was polite, professional, and got the job done safely and quickly to my satisfaction. Highly recommend!

  Buyer Beware – Lizzie's Garage My garage door had an issue: it would open fine, but when closing, it would travel partway down and then reverse back open, never actually closing. Since Lizzie's Garage had originally installed the doors, I called them first. The owner quoted me a $140 service call fee. His technician arrived, but the door didn't fail while he was there — it worked fine during the visit. I showed him a video of the door failing to close 7 out of 10 times. I told him directly to replace the sensors, given what the video showed. He refused, insisted they were "fine," greased and lubricated the door instead, and charged me $175 for the visit — $35 more than the quoted fee, for a fix that didn't fix anything. Predictably, the door started malfunctioning again shortly after he left. It was the weekend, so I left a message with Lizzie's and called American Garage Door instead. Their technician came out on a Sunday, diagnosed the sensors as faulty without any prompting from me, replaced the sensors and wiring, and charged $225. The door has worked perfectly ever since. It was the sensors all along — exactly what the video had shown, and exactly what I'd told Lizzie's tech in the first place. On Monday, July 6, 2026, I called Lizzie's to request a refund for the $175 charge, since their diagnosis was wrong and their "fix" did nothing. The owner, Brad, was combative from the start — interrupting constantly, never letting me finish a sentence, and using profanity I won't repeat. It was an unprofessional, hostile exchange, and I ended up hanging up rather than continue being talked over and cursed at. I'm requesting a refund of the $175, though I fully expect the owner to respond with excuses rather than accountability. Bottom line: misdiagnosed the problem despite clear video evidence, charged more than quoted, and treated a paying customer with open hostility when asked to make it right. Steer clear.
