The service was nothing but first class from the start. Connor the sales rep was very casual but super thorough. Not your typical pushy sales guy. He sat down with us and gave us a great presentation at the time of the estimate reviewing all the options.
Keith and his crew showed up a couple weeks later and did a phenomenal job with our roofs. They were all very polite and friendly. The crew knocked out our roofs in 7 hours and aside from the new look you can't even tell they were here. They did a great job protecting our property during the construction and cleaning up when they were done. I couldn't ask for better service. I will be a customer for life. You should be too.
Ohh and did I mention a 50 year warranty? Yes, 50 years!
Thank you to the entire Team!
Vaillancourt was recommended to us by friends and they did a great job replacing the roof (20 sq.) on our 1800 house in Kingston, NH. We went with OC Duration Flex (class 4) shingles and the Deck Defense and WeatherLock Flex underlayment and water/ice barrier. It's been more than a month with some heavy rain storms and no issues with the new roof. We had one mis-communication regarding the OC platinum warranty but that was cleared up professionally and immediately with a phone call. The staff and crew from initial inspection of our old roof through the completion of the project (one day!) were professional, thorough, and left our house/yard without a trace of all the work that had been done. I'm hoping this is the last roof we do in my lifetime but I would choose Vaillancourt again if it were necessary!
Poor communication experience leading up to my appointment. I received a call and text on a Sunday asking me to contact them about an upcoming appointment, but with no explanation of why. When I texted back, I got no response. Calling the next day meant sitting through lengthy automated messaging before being connected to an undisclosed AI assistant that couldn't help me. Requesting a live representative sent me straight to voicemail. A follow-up voicemail from them then commented that I wasn't answering my calls — which felt unprofessional, as I was at work and not always available by phone.
After all of that, the only reason for the outreach was to confirm my appointment. A simple "please confirm your upcoming appointment" from the start would have saved everyone time and frustration.

The estimator gave me the most bonkers quote that was so laughable, it almost seemed like we were being punked. For a 2500 sq ft structure to be roofed in asphalt shingles, they quoted over $40,000, which is double the estimates I have gotten from other local roofers. The quote to do metal roofing instead of asphalt was almost $90,000. Gutters were quoted for $12000. He argued with me that the estimate couldn’t be more than $3k off of his competitors but said that maybe his calculations were off.
Asides from getting a crazy high quote, my major concern stems from the high sales pressure tactics leveraged throughout the visit.
They used high sales pressure tactics to try to get me to replace additional metal roofing, outside of what we had called to get an estimate for that is less than 10 years old. He told me that if we didn’t sign a contract this week, the cost would go up by 30%. Additionally, the estimator told me that the cost of plywood is $100 per sheet at the hardware store and when I questioned that, he googled it and said “ok, I guess it’s closer to $50 per sheet.” It was the most bizarre estimate experience I have had. I called the office this morning to provide my feedback. Was told a manager would call me back to hear my concerns and they did not.
Overall, would not waste my time contacting this company for an estimate.

Not a great experience. When the gutters were finally installed, the team did a descent job, so I don’t have any complaints with the workmanship or the cleanup. That was all fine. My problem with Vaillancourt was scheduling and communication. I signed the contact with Kyle Knutson – one of their sales folks – on March 23. At the time, I was told they were scheduling about a month out. I was okay with that, so we proceeded. A few days later I got a call from their scheduling department (Kat), that the team would be at my house in the afternoon of April 23. On the 23rd, at 3:30 PM, I had to call to find out where the installers were. Kat was unable to reach the crew so she told me someone would call me back. It turns out the morning job was more problematic than originally thought. I get that – it happens. But no call to let me know? I got two calls from Vaillancourt a little later with apologies and assurances that they would look into what happened and get back to me right away. Four days later (Monday the 27th), not hearing from anyone at Vaillancourt, I had to call them. This time the story was that they hold their scheduling meetings on Wednesdays and that someone would call me immediately after the meeting. Wednesday comes and goes and no call. I found out later, the meeting was never held. Still, no one bothers to let me know. Finally, on the 30th I got a call that the team will be at my house on Friday, May 8th arriving between 7 and 7:30 am. At 8:00 am, I had to call them (are you seeing a pattern here?) No one was here and, of course, no one took the trouble to let me know. This time, I found out that the team had to stop for supplies and would be at the house by 8:45. They finally showed up a little closer to 9:30.
I get it, my job was only a $2,000 gutter job but if I had a better experience, I might consider Vaillancourt for more work. Not after this experience. I hope you have better luck.
Update. Based on the response to my initial review, I have added a star to the overall rating. I am impressed with the seriousness with witch the folks at Vaillancourt have taken my review and the steps they have indicated they are taking to improve communications.
