- MSMichelle SeebaOct 1, 20261.0Thompson and Thompson installed insulation in my attic, replaced and added new soffit vents, and installed a bathroom vent. The day of installation I had to leave before they were finished. I asked them to lock up. Not only did they leave the garage door open, the literally left the door into the house wide open. Then, they had installed the vents backwards and damaged the wood when they cut new ones, but didn't bother to repair the exposed raw wood. They also broke an expensive work light in my garage. They completed this work less than two years ago, and now with the storm my roof is leaking where they added the vent. See the video! They didn't even use cauk or silicone around the shingles at where it met the vent. Completely shoddy workmanship with zero accountability or actual care for the consumer. I don't believe for a single second that their real score is 4.9. They must be one of the companies that pays to have the unflattering (read: HONEST) reviews taken down. I wish I had just asked a friend or asked around at work for a recommendation instead of ever trusting this terrible company or Google.
