  I recently had Sergio Robles from Groundworks come out to look at my foundation, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. A major foundation repair is a massive purchase to save my home, and I prefer to know everything upfront so I can plan and budget accordingly. Because of this, his consultation was incredibly extensive. Sergio came out to my house twice and spent a total of 6 hours with me discussing every single facet of this project. What made this experience even more exceptional was his incredible patience. I am a caregiver for my terminally ill brother who has cancer, meaning I have to work around his strict medical appointments and care. I unfortunately had to reschedule with Sergio at the very last moment, and his understanding and patience were beyond amazing. Throughout our 6 hours of discussion, Sergio provided total transparency. He broke down the pricing in detail. Because of my anxiety, I hadn’t even considered that financing through my credit union versus a third-party lender could mean different interest rates that would change the overall cost. Sergio took the time to explain this clearly, always keeping my anxiety in mind and constantly reassuring me that he would deliver the results I needed and wanted in the most cost-effective way. His integrity stood out immensely; he was completely honest about what the job required and never tried to push unnecessary costs on me. He also walked me through their internal process so I could understand exactly how they ensure the job is completed correctly to give me back the basement space I’ve lost over the years. Because Groundworks doesn't handle the extensive prep work itself, he carefully explained the steps I would need to take to get the basement ready. Since they will be breaking up the ground, he walked me through the scary thought that the small tiles in my basement may contain asbestos and me needing to test the floor tiles for asbestos first. He went above and beyond by pointing out the specific types of outside professionals I might want to hire to assist me like movers if I wanted to completely empty out the basement, a plumber to remove the water heater, restroom and shower, and an electrician to remove the conduit and electrical panel, which I didn’t know I needed without him explaining to me, to waterproof the entire basement. Finding someone who balances true engineering expertise with real empathy, thoroughness, and honesty is rare. Thank you, Sergio, for being patient, respectful, and working around my caregiver duties. Thank you for easing my anxiety with your calm presence, knowledge, and genuine concern for me and my home. You turned an anxious and stressful situation into one that was educational, positive, and an overall great experience!

  CJ came out to check on a crack and was extremely helpful and honest. We had been quoted more significant work by other companies. He didn’t try to sell me on unnecessary work and actually explained why + helped identify a source issue.

  Sergio came out today for an inspection and was very thorough and explained everything he was doing. He showed me actual places on my house he was addressing and some of the tools he used to make his assessment. Whole experience felt genuine and he really listened to my concerns.

  Sergio Robles assessed our foundation flaws and driveway needs in depth and gave a very well defined report of our needs. He thoroughly explained the options of repair and gave a complete explanation of how they could work to meet the needs that clearly needed remediated. He was very clear and patient with us as we are real novices in understanding this area of home repairs.

  My house is 9 years old and I’ve been in it for 2 years. Yesterday, I noticed water along my storage room wall so on advice of my fiancé, I called Groundworks. They were quick to respond and sent out Don Anderson, a certified field inspector, today. He analyzed the problems and came up with a solution for a total fix! Don was great! He explained what needed to be done and how they were going to do it complete with a video explaining everything further. Don is so knowledgeable and wonderful to work with! I have complete confidence in Don and Groundworks to handle the project!!! I would highly recommend both the company and Don!
