  Getzschman got the job finished in record time. The technician was friendly and knew what he was doing from start to finish. It was very easy to get a quick appointment. Full disclosure, I do have a service contract with them and that helped with getting service within minutes of my call. I also saved quite a bit more than the initial cost of my annual service contract. If you get any service from Getzschman, I would recommend getting that service contract. It can save you a bundle on any needed parts replacement. Thank you again, Getzschman!

  He did well, he was very knowledgeable and walked me through what needed to be replaced. My only issue was he did not were shoe covers and ended bringing mud into the carpet. So that part was a bit unprofessional specially when charging so much money for a surge protector, swapping 2 capacitors and a starter boost for the compressor.

  Getzschman has been our go-to maintenance company for our HVAC system. We renewed our annual maintenance plan to cover spring/fall service and it's worth the peace of mind. Mitch did a great job during his visit and even caught a factory contact in our outdoor A/C unit that was about to go bad - fixing it during today's visit.

  ABSOLUTE SCAM!!!! My AC unit quit working on saturday. I called Getzschman for service and it was a terrible experience. The technician, Josh Volpp, was at my house for exactly 7 minutes (9:07 AM to 9:14 AM). He looked at my basement unit, claimed it was too old to find parts for, and then sprayed an incorrect oil onto a running fan—which immediately broke the fan motor. Instead of fixing anything, he immediately asked about our credit and if we had $14,000 for a new unit. When I refused the new unit, he demanded a $150 service fee despite only being here for minutes and breaking my system further. I felt completely taken advantage of. I called a different company from Omaha for a second opinion. They confirmed Josh ruined the motor with the oil spray. They also stated that while the unit is older, it is standard and universal parts are widely available. The second company had my AC completely fixed and running perfectly within two hours. Avoid Getzschman—they showed up to push a high-priced sale, not to do honest repair work.

  We have called on this company more than once for service. Both times have been an excellent experience. Our AC quit working the weekend where the temps were over 100 with extreme humidity. We called Getzschman that Saturday morning and had Josh out to help us shortly after. Communication from this company is top notch. We were so grateful for the quick response to our AC issues as our home was heating up quickly! Josh could have told us we needed an entirely new unit and we would have taken his word for it, but instead he was honest with us and advised getting a new motor and capacitor. He also helped with an issue he saw with our furnace that was installed by another company, which shows that he genuinely cares. We are extremely thankful for the prompt response to our call and for Josh who is very professional, knowledgeable, and quick to complete quality work especially on a weekend that could have sent us to a hotel. We plan to utilize Getzschman for all services they provide and will suggest them to our friends and neighbors. They are helpful and trustworthy and have earned our continued business.
